IMPORTANT: Safety is Paramount in any Big City : Panama is no exception: There is not shortage of places to stay in Panama City! BUT, what you don't get told is the areas can be too risky at night! Be very careful what district you stay in: Areas like El Cangrego, Calle Central, Ave Peru, Ave Cuba , Casco Viejo and Calidonia are simply way under policed and can be dangerous. The last thing you need is a robbery on your vacation. So even if you opt to not stay with me try to avoid the areas above so your safe on your vacation: I tell you this so you can be safe instead of Sorry!
Our district is the home to the Casinos, Banks and Center of Hotel Tourism and its the most SAFE area in the entire Capital: The Banks/ Casinos pay for added Police protection and especially at night: Here your going to be very safe so be aware of low prices out there in Risky Areas! “This is not a condo, nor is it like the pictures posted.”

We were charged $99 a night for a 2bedroom/ 2 bath condo. This is not a condo, but an apartment that has been remodeled into dorm rooms! Our room was extremely timely two people had difficulty in movi… More

Owner's reply: Note this set up is clearly advertised as a Studio Efficiency set up: Our price is also very low for the top area in town. We are next door to the Marriott Main hotel the safest location in town! All Rooms have an internal Bathroom and Kitchen: This renter opted for our budget, least expensive 2 bedroom we have and was informed that this particular unit one of the bedrooms, has a private Bathroom just outside the door of the room. These bedrooms are contiguous with the second bedroom so I have no idea what the writer is talking about? They are side by side? The customer wanted to save money so opted for this set up, in lieu of our very large two bedroom with internal bathrooms in each unit. The Elevator was small but has been replaced with a modern larger elevator a short time ago. Note this area is very quite and customers comment about how quite it is given the location direct in the center of the city. So my assumption is the writer is a light sleeper no matter where he stays. This is a capital city, its not Kansas! But no one has every needed earplugs here that is an exaggeration by miles: Deposits we use are industry standard, no apartments are rented like hotels where you have the option to check out early. As far as cleaning is concerned all clients who stay with us first comment is the place is immaculate clean. There is a saying in the rental business, You can please some of the people some of the time but you can never please all of the people all of the time. This is the case in this write up! Our price is the best in town for what we offer. If you want the Bristol , Trump or Marriott you can pay 3 times the money and get no Kitchen. But for the money we are untouchable in this district. But we are not the 4 Seasons Hotel!

We had a great time in panama. We rented a condo thru trip advisor and it was a good move. The condo was clean, very close to what we wanted to see, a good price and equipped what we needed.
