Purpose built self-contained apartment (you are not sharing in any way), your own front door and privacy, ideally located close to the town center, tastefully decorated and furnished with all the mod cons.

This property is suited to a couple or friends sharing or a single traveler, its got everything you need to live well for the time your there, tried and tested for long periods by myself. A fully fitted kitchen, with oven, fridge, microwave, blender, pots, pans, plates, glasses, cutlery (including decent knives, if you cook, you will know this is a good thing). The Living/bedroom has a large double bed with built in wardrobe, chest of drawers, sofa and chair. The balcony had a 4 seated glass table and chairs.

Guest Access

The guests have access to all the grounds, the pool and the launderette witch has a dryer and washing machine, there is also ample parking on site should you wish to hire a car (from myself or other). You have your own front door as the apartment is in a complex of purpose built ones, this is not a shared house or addition, you have total privacy.

The Neighborhood

This studio apartment is located in a prestigious gated development close to Ocho Rios town centre and the area’s beaches. It’s a very friendly community in which people are happy to help with things like directions and ideas for things to do. So don’t be afraid to ask!

Staying here puts you right opposite a famous local restaurant and takeaway with food so good it draws in customers from miles around. You’ll just have a short walk to get there and enjoy amazing dinners from as little as $4. Some of the other attractions that can easily be reached from this studio apartment include:

The Beaches: try Mahogany Beach, Turtle Beach, White River Beach and Pleasure Cove

Dolphin Cove - this is the place to go to spot some wonderful marine life

Irie Blue Hole - discover waterfalls and beautiful places to swim

Dunns River Falls - this famous waterfall is a must-see

Getting around

Walk about 2 minutes to the end of the road and you can get a taxi into the transport center in town (about 75p) and you can go anywhere from there, taxis are cheap and very frequent, but expect to get crammed in like a sardine can. If your renting a car (from myself or others) then take an unlocked smart phone with you, get a lime or Digicel or Lime Sim card from the airport (about £8) put some credit on it and ask them to configure the internet and you can use a great satellite navigation program called Waze, then you can find anywhere.. Jamaica's drive on the same side as the UK, though a bit more aggressively, take your time relax and it's almost like you're driving in the country in the UK.

Entertainment

The apartment has high speed “always on” firer broadband internet with both private internal WiFi and external WiFi so you can surf on the sofa or by the pool. There is a LED TV with cable and in addition an Android TV box for all you tech savvy people who can figure out how to use it.

Across the road is one of Ocho Rios's hottest night clubs and a quick, if you want to go a little further then Ocho Rios town is about 5 minutes by cab, there you will find a plethora of clubs bars and restaurants .

The Beach

The closest beach is White River which is about a ten minute walk or main beach is a 5 minute cab ride.

The complex is gated with electronic gates & secure parking, it has a staffed reception office during the day together with evening and weekend security.

I can arrange transport to and from Kingston / Montego bay airport if you require, it's about £15 per person.

Unfortunetly I dont live in Jamaica, however Im avaliable most time on the phone via whatsapp, please dont forget we are six hours in front in the UK. There is a complex manager who is Jamaican resident & can address any of your queries, plus an on site maintenance man so don't be afraid to ask.

Unfortunately This is a fabricated review sigh. Michael's "local lady friend" decided she wanted to stay in an expensive hotel rather than a self catering apartment, so they wanted to leave after booking the apartment way I advance for a long period meaning I couldn't rent it to anyone else in a busy season, they left without notice or communication I only found out from the local site office days later that they had done so. As for mould in the bathroom, #1 mould needs a constant supply or moisture to grow.. this is the Carribbean we don't get condensation, the bathroom is tiled from floor to ceiling so there is noware for mould to sit (mould won't grow on ceramic tiles), no one else has ever mentioned this and I have rented this property 100s of times and I also stay there when in Jamaica, it has 5 star reviews on other sites.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

If Jerome (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
