It has an en-suite Bathroom with corner bath, two wash hand basins, a shower cubicle and external Balinese shower.Bedroom 2 is directly opposite and accessed from the Dining Area, with air-conditioning and ceiling fan, large wardrobe and en-suite bathroom with marble paneled bath, two wash hand basins, shower cubicle, and w.c.The 3 rd and 4 th bedrooms are situated off the Living Room with air-conditioning and ceiling fans. A private bathroom is situated adjacent to both bedrooms off the inner hallway, making it personal and exclusive to the guests of these rooms. Externally there is a fully landscaped garden, substantial block paved driveway leading into the covered car port providing parking for 2 cars with additional parking in the drive for many more.The substantial wooden pool deck is shaded on all sides and cooled in each area by ceiling fans, operated via dimmer speed switches. The Surat Thani Province region

Koh Samui is in the Gulf of Thailand, about 35 km northeast of Surat Thani town (9°N, 100°E). It is the most significant island in the archipelago. The island measures some 25 km at its widest point. To the north are the populated resort islands of Koh Phangan, Koh Tao, and Koh Nang Yuan.

Close to Bangrak in NE Samui is the small uninhabited island of Koh Som, and to the northeast of Chaweng is the tiny Ko Matlang. In the southern direction are Ko Taen, Ko Matsum each of which have very small tourist facilities. To the far west are 44 other islands which together compose the National Marine Park which is accessible by a day-trip boat tour from Koh Samui.

Maenam

Maenam runs along a 7 km stretch of the ring road and is fondly regarded as one of the most sort after locations for guests seeking a more relaxed and local island feel.

The villa is situated approx. 2.3 km's away from the village of Maenam and its beaches and restaurants on the North Coast of Koh Samui, only 20 - 30 minutes from the boutique airport in Koh Samui.

"Walking Street" every Thursday in Maenam is an occasion not to be missed.

Regarded by seasoned regulars to be the best of the Walking Streets on the island, the village comes alive in a unique way every Thursday from late afternoon, with local vendors and restaurants fill the horseshoe road with an incredible array of food and delights.

Maenam Beach

Maenam Beach, located at the end of the street after passing through the China Town arches does not have the mass influx of tourists each day hence it is popular with couples and families seeking something a little more relaxed.

For Spa treatments, there is an abundance of options, from the simple beach massage and pedicure services to the very finest in self indulgence, you can also have a private massage treatment in the privacy of your own villa, conducted by a fully qualified masseuse, just make a request with our office a day or 2 before.

The main centre of Chaweng with its large supermarkets is around 20 minutes by car.

Golfing at its best

Located less than 10 minutes drive away from the villa is the renowned and challenging 18 hole Santi Buri Championship Golf Course and Country Club enjoying spectacular sea views of the island from its unique viewpoint.

Access to the neighbouring islands

A number of piers are situated in this area running regular services to Koh Phangnan and Koh Tao. Water sports on this beach are popular thanks to the windy shore, why not try your hand at kite-surfing or windsurfing?

The kite-surfing school operates from this beach.

“Great place to stay”

From the very first contact with Stuart we knew we had made a right choice - he was very helpful with all our requests. The same continued throughout our stay in Baan Lotus - his office is very conveniently located and we sure made use of that! The property itself is very spacious and just perfect for two families. Whilst the kids could be close to each other, the adults we placed far enough from each other and kids (not that far that you would forget about them though). We did not spend much time indoors, but it had everything you need and more - well equipped kitchen made us want to cook a few meals at home, but mostly we ate out. The decking and the pool were where we spent most of our time when we were in. Its well designed and keeps you cool when it gets very hot. Coming from Estonia - the sauna was a great bonus, i bet nobody has ever used it as much as we did - it was great! The development is a bit far from the beaches to walk to any of them but still just a very short drive away. Our favourite one was Buddha Beach and that is just 10min drive. As a tip we would recommend to ask about everything from Stuart before you go out to wonder yourself - saves a lot of time! The only negative was that there was no bbq, however we totally understood why (maybe a built in one would sort the problem?!). Overall we had great time and would definitely come back.

Thank you for such a detailed review Jana, it really was a pleasure to meet you all, so pleased the villa provided everything you needed, the barbeque troubles we have had over the years is a sad thing, it may be a built in one would be the only solution, preferably with ceramic grills to avoid rusting, I keep looking out for them, maybe one day, Hope to see you again one day, Best wishes, Stuart
