From the owner

Hameau Virginia is set in the village of Le Crotoy just a very short walk from the long sandy beach, and near to the local Carrefour Supermarche, village centre and the port. It is away from the road in a quiet residential development of beautifully designed French cottages with private parking. The house comprises a master bedroom and second bedroom, an upstairs bathroom with a powerful shower, bath, sink and large mirror. The one lavatory for the house is downstairs.

An upstairs hallway leads to wide and open pine stairs with a robust handrail which leads to the entrance hallway. there is a downstairs lavatory with hot and cold water hand basin and mirror. The modern kitchen contains an eye level grill and oven, large fridge with freezer compartment, microwave oven, four ring electric hob with extractor fan, dishwasher, washing machine, kettle, coffeemaker, toaster and plenty of cupboard space. A great deal of cutlery is provided together with crockery plus a selection of kitchen utensils, pots, pans and even a large pan for cooking mussels or clams!

The sitting room is large with a big comfy futon sofa and two matching chairs, There is a 32" colour TV, a WiFi router (the WiFi is fast), a dining table with four chairs and a coffee table. A very large double patio door (with curtains for privacy) opens to a terraced area and then on to a small, private and secure hedge lined, south facing garden with views across a large lawn to a manor house (now converted into apartments). There's a small outside shed containing bicycles, all of which are free to be used by tenants. We accept no responsibility for any accidents or malfunctions whilst the bikes are being used.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Mark (the owner) a message.

If Mark (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
