We offer an experience for each mood.

Fitness in our outdoor facilities, boxing arena, indoor gym, and 18m swimming pool.

And outside the camp: walk amongst the Mangrove trees, watch the extensive variety of birds, take a canoe to visit the Creek’s islands and try the Mida Creek Boardwalk.

The space

We built Eagle Camp Mida Creek to provide a total relaxation and fitness experience in nature away from routine and stress allowing you to sit back, relax and enjoy the view whether in your room or outside, get fit while having fun and find inner peace and reduce your stress levels.

Family run, the Camp offers 4 spacious rooms and one smaller room in two buildings: the Mangrove house and the Treehouse. The 4 rooms have their own bathroom, all are simply decorated using earth colours. It can house up to 22 people.

All the rooms face the ocean mangrove forest of this natural bird reserve and are designed to catch the constant forest breeze.

The Camp houses an extensive sports centre with an 18 metre long swimming pool and small children’s pool; a boxing and martial arts arena; an outdoor team building area; a large open-air fitness hall for aerobics and functional training; a total gym as well as a massage, meditation, Reiki and crystal therapy room as part of our philosophy that developing a still mind is as important as building an active fit body for personal growth and fulfilment.

Our outdoor dining area with barbecue facilities provides home cooking to suit your taste. You arrange the time and pre-order your choice of meals with our staff that will explain the fresh food that is available for the day. Fresh fish is caught every day at the Creek and chickens and goats can be purchased from the neighbouring farmers.

Guests have access to the grounds - the houses are set in a 3 acre fenced plot filled with Cashew nut, Mango, Neem and Coconut trees and some 500 smaller trees that we have planted – the swimming pool and the sports centre. We work closely with the local community to ensure our growth will also bring growth to them.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
