From the owner

Located on the Eastern shore of Maryland, Kent Island is a small area 13 miles long and 5 miles wide. The Bay Bridge spans the Cheasapeake bay from the Western shore to Kent Island. We are 4.5 miles north of the bridge in a charming dead end, waterfront community of single family homes called Love Point!. This property has 1 1/2 acres allowing privacy, ample parking and space for volleyball or fishing from the water's edge.

The house is a one story rambler with a full basement where there is a laundry room, ping pong table and 3 additional beds for large groups. Furnishings are colorful and comfortable focusing on furniture painted by local artists and collectibles. A great room with cathedral ceiling has a wonderful fireplace which divides the kitchen and family room. The kitchen is very well equipped. The large multipurpose room offers another option for viewing the water and eating.

A 60' deck spans the entire back of the house offering several seating and dining areas. Flower beds and planters enhance the home bringing color to the outside. Sound speakers and outdoor hot/cold water shower adds to the popularity of the trex deck.

On the main level are 3 bedrooms with 3 baths. Total number of beds is 9 - 6 on the main level and 3 more downstairs. Whether you come alone or with a large group, you're sure to find delight in staying at Love Point.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Paula (the owner) a message.

If Paula (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
