“Home away from home!” Two other colleagues and I traveled from our hometown of San antonio, TX to complete an internship at Johns Hopkins Hospital, in Baltimore, MD. We were fortunate to have found such a great place to stay within a great neighborhood. The owner, Z.N. was very accommodating to the amount of time we intended to stay as well as our terms of payment. The house came fully furnished and could not have been more accommodating to our needs. This was a great experience within itself.

“Vista is an amazing home in a gorgeous pastoral setting, in the” The description of Vista is certainly accurate, but we found it to be even better in person. Vista is a very special place that reflects the love and care of the Batten family. The spotless, comfortable, spacious home offers unobstructed country views showing off the Maryland countryside. The well-equipped kitchen and new gas BBQ made it easy to prepare meals. All of the outdoor areas are inviting to watch the active bird feeders, eating on the patio or deck, glimpsing the fish in the pond and watching sunsets and approaching thunderstorms. Vista is highly recommended! Vista provides a perfect base from which to explore the many historical sites. Chris and Melissa were available to answer any questions we had and made welcome suggestions, as did Bruce. The four of us stayed at Vista for 9 days and it was truly difficult to leave our new friends Chris and Melissa. As my friend said, "Every day we were so glad to have this slice of heaven to come home to." Rating 5 out of 5

Maryland's balmy coastal weather, close proximity to the nation's capital and phenomenal beaches make it an excellent place to enjoy a holiday. This small mid-coastal state is home to one of America's most beautiful bays, Chesapeake Bay. Maryland is nicknamed "America in miniature" because it offers a little of everything: urban charm, mountains, rolling plains and grasslands, crystal-clear coastal waters and a rich history. The state is also famous for its food; no holiday to Maryland is complete without sampling the fresh seafood, especially the delectable crab cakes.

Summer is the perfect time to visit Maryland as Ocean City makes a perfect place for a family holiday. Annapolis' City Dock, which has remained virtually unchanged for a century, has summertime concerts by the shores of the Chesapeake. During the summer, you can also visit Maryland campgrounds and bring the family to one of the many water parks in Maryland.
