From the owner

This home was originally a "kit" that was built about 40 years ago. After purchasing the property we added an addition that consists of an expanded Master BR (King canopy bed) with a bathroom directly across the hall that includes an in wall thermostatic heater which is great after exiting the shower. The original portion of the house includes a back bedroom with a futon couch that opens and converts into a full sized bed. The former Master BR includes a Queen bed and the third bedroom (the original "boys room") has bunk beds. These three rooms are centered around another bathroom with a walk in shower. In the main ("big") room you can sit on a semi rectangular shaped couch where two of the seats recline! The kitchen offers a Jenair indoor grill as well as a double oven and a built in microwave. There is counter seating for four (great for feeding the kids) and a sit down table that seats six. This room is surrounded by a wrap around deck with entrances on both the front and side of the room.

During the Winter you can sit and enjoy unobstructed views of Hunter Mountain from every seat in this expanded living and dining area. Watch the Fall foliage from the back deck. In the Summer the trees surround you affording privacy and quiet. Because of our unique location peripheral light is minimized and looking up it is as if you were sitting in a Planetarium gazing at the unfettered stars at night.

The property is approx. 1 acre that is surrounded on three sides by protected state land. From the front door you are five minutes to the entrance of the Hunter Mountain Skiing area by car.

How do damage deposits work?

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Jeffrey (the owner) a message.

If Jeffrey (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
