Yoga & nature lovers!!

Amazing studio located in paradise just minutes away from the turquoise waters of Narigama beach, best surfing beach in Hikkaduwa, and with fully equiped kitchen, hot water, and stunning views and wildlife from the yoga deck!!!

There are a total of 3 independent studios at Kundala House: a wooden one in one building and two twin studios communicated by a door if needed be.

This one has the possibility of double or twin beds, fan, hot water, and equipped kitchen with fridge if you want to cook instead going out for a rice and curry…;)

There is also a bench that could be turned into a single bed for a third person if needed ( at extra cost)

The studio its only 500 mt from the turquoise waters of Narigama beach, Hikkaduwa, one of the most beautiful surfing beaches in Sri Lanka, and its located next to a Buddhist temple on the top of the hill, so if you want to find a little peace after the craziness of Galle rd, this is the place for you.

Also in the land there is the owner´s house and a beautiful yoga wooden deck overlooking the paddy fields, where magic takes place every sunrise or afternoon with monkeys, amazing birds, water buffalos… you name it…perfect for yoga, meditation or simple being...

We can show you how a vanilla plant looks like, or a cinnamon, or curry tree, bananas, pepper, papaya, clove tree, lemon grass, coconut, jack fruit, bread fruit, passion fruit ….and our first pineapple which is growing as you read this ( over excited about that little one)

We would please ask you little things such as turn off the fans and lights as you leave the studio, respect sleeping hours, separate plastic from paper and organic, and please dont take towels to the beach...

Internet flow is not suitable for downloading nor streaming ( ie. Youtube, movies online, spotify...) , and wifi will be available from 7.00 am until 20.00 pm.

We are afraid that due to the nature of the enviroment, at the moment our property its not suitable for kids, hopefully that will change soon...

And of course, if you get tired of the hard beach surfing life and want to travel around, visit turtles, go to waterfalls, temples, Yala Park , whale watching or anything else, we can give you some advice for you no probs.

House rules

Please, this a private house, so kindly refrain to let any outsiders to the property without our consent. Not even tuktuk drivers nor taxi drivers.
This is a very quiet place where we respect sleeping hours , we enjoy listening to the jungle soundtrack.
Please turn off fans & lights as you leave, try to separate garbage, and dont take towels to the beach. Wifi from 7am till 20.00pm, but is not suitable for youtube or watching films as there is no such as unlimited Internet in Sri Lanka yet.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Kundala (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
