Description

Small bungalow in a serene location next to the Hikkaduwa lagoon. Property includes 1/2 acre of landscaped garden, 10m x 3m private swimming pool and jetty on the lagoon. Separate kitchen and caretaker's room. 5 min tuk tuk ride from Hikkaduwa town. Rooms are air conditioned.

There is also a two-man canoe with basic fishing tackle and cool box, in case you want to explore the lagoon.

The bungalow uses environmentally friendly construction and generates electricity from solar panels.

“The perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of life……..”

PJ's is in a fabulous location. Very peaceful and tranquil and was the perfect escape from the demands of everyday life, yet close enough (a tuk tuk ride) to the lively town of Hikkaduwa where you can find shops, bars and restaurants. The property offers open plan / open air living that I thoroughly enjoyed and the open air bathrooms are great and very different from what most of us would consider the norm! The kitchen is detached from the main house and offers basic cooking facilities if needed.There are 2 comfortable bedrooms, a good sized swimming pool and plenty of outdoor space to enjoy. This was my first holiday experience in Sri Lanka and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at PJ's. An incredibly relaxing holiday - I would definitely stay there again and recommend to friends and family.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
