De Rode Beuk, our holiday house, is part of a classic mansion but offers up-to-date conveniences and is surrounded by a beautiful garden. It is ideally situated nearby the city of Aalst. Brussels is only 25 km distance away and Ghent is located at 30 km. Our holiday house is the perfect place to take that well earned break alone, with friends, colleagues or family. Large family stays are well suited to our lodge - we adapt to all your needs.

The house has a spacious living room with a terrace, a totally equipped kitchen, 2 bathrooms, free wifi and remote satellite TV. Three double rooms with comfortable beds assure a good night's sleep:
*Our charming Congo room can be found on the ground floor and faces the garden with its lovely 100 year old red and green beech trees. The double-bed is of excellent quality and the room has a private bathroom with a water basin, a bathtub and a toilet.
*The first floor accommodates the light Brazil room that offers two single beds and the Asia room with one double bed. The two rooms on the first floor share a retro bathroom with a toilet, big bathtub, 2 water basins and a shower.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Roos (the owner) a message.

If Roos (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
