Traditional town house in the village of Abdet, near Guadalest, surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery, yet only 20 kms from Benidorm.
Feature well appointed bathrooms (one ensuite), and spacious bedrooms. Private garden/patio, Wood pellet stove for those cool winter evenings in this peaceful mountain village. There is even a secret hiding place, a reminder of Spain's relatively recent turbulent history.
We provide free guides to local walks.
During the summer months you can while away the hours at one of the local pools, spectacularly situated amidst amazing rock and mountain scenery. Also the local canyon provides excellent swimming in smooth rock pools.
History, Wildlife and Culture: Explore the Guadalest valley, there is lots to do: exciting fiestas throughout the year; ruined castles, wild life sanctuaries, and many beautiful and historic villages.

“Perfect location if you love the outdoors”
A great base for rock climbing, mountain walking and other outdoor activities. It's a traditional house (so nice and cool in summer) but has been fully modernised. The facilities and equipment are excellent and include everything needed for a family or group. For climbers, the El Flare crags are just a short walk away and there is good rock and a nice mix of routes at various grades. It was quite a novelty to be able to nip home for lunch in between climbs! Abdet is an attractive, quiet village in a lovely mountain setting. Sitting on the roof terrace, drinking a cold beer and watching the full moon rising over the sea in the distance was a real highlight. Can't wait to return.

We used this house as a great Base for cycling and running which can both be done straight from the doorstep. Great place, will be returning!

If Thomas (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
