The two Driftwood condos are stunningly located on the water's edge of Hoopers Bay, one of the most beautiful beaches in the Bahamas. The Condos are modern with hotel quality furniture and equipment. All rooms have air condition. The Condos are centrally located and close to stores and restaurants. The neighborhood is quiet and Exumians are warm, friendly and welcoming. We, Lidia and Eric, will greet you when you arrive and will always be available in case you have any questions.

Driftwood Condos face the ocean side of the island with its cooling breeze and magnificent turquoise waters where you can swim with the wild turtles, watch dolphins, snorkel in the crystal clear waters, or just soak up the sun on the beautiful beach.

The Condos are clean and enjoyable and have all of the amenities needed. The bedroom closets have plenty of hangers and storage space for your personal needs. Each condo also has a safe for your valuables. They offer luxury flexible accommodation for 2-4 in each of the two Condos; the second floor condo offers two bedrooms with queen size beds and with en-suite bathrooms. The first floor condo offers two bedrooms with en suite bathrooms. One bedroom has a queen size bed and the other has two twin beds that can be made into a king size bed. This flexibility means you can rent either condo for 2-4 guests, or both for up to 8 guests. The condos are one above the other, and benefit from all modern amenities. Both offer balconies overlooking the beautiful bay with its stunning sunsets and share a private outside sundeck. Driftwood is the perfect place for relaxing and swimming from your own private beach, with lots of other things to do: beach combing, wildlife, historical and cultural places of interest. Hoopers Bay is shallow, always calm, perfect for swimming (especially for children), protected from winds and yet offers amazing snorkeling.

This first floor condo has two bedrooms each with en suite bathroom. One bedroom has a queen size bed and the other one has two twin size beds that can be made into a king size bed. The kitchen has a full fridge/freezer, microwave, stovetop, counter-top oven with convection and rotisserie, a complete set of cookware and small appliances (coffee maker, kettle, toaster, blender, food processor, waffle, pancake and sandwich maker). There is also an outdoor gas grill for your grilling needs. Attached to the building there is a laundry room with a full size washer and dryer. Laundry soap is provided.

Hoopers Bay is one of the main reasons for staying at Driftwood Condos. It is pretty much everyone's idea of the "perfect beach". It is shallow, warm and very safe for swimming. You can run your fingers and toes through powder white sand, whilst drowsing in the shade of a tall coconut palm with a cold drink by your side. With few people around the half-mile long beach it is quiet and private which makes it just the place to unwind.

There are two kayaks for each Condo with life jackets provided and a paddleboard. There are also some floats and toys for children. Snorkeling is always a great way to spend an afternoon, looking for myriads of fish in the crystal clear waters or swimming with the wild turtles that live in the bay.

At Driftwood we have a very unique feature at the beach, which is our very own private space reserved for our guests. Under the beautiful coconut trees we have many different beach chairs, two hammocks and a table and chairs. If you would like to move the chairs closer to the ocean we have umbrellas that you can use for shade. In our beach room we have cushions that you can use on the chairs as well.

When you arrive at Driftwood Condos you will find five gallons of filtered water in your cooler, which we can refill from our own reverse osmosis system, 2 rolls of toilet paper in each bathroom, one roll of paper towels, bathroom soap, dish soap, a new sponge, dishwasher soap, coffee filters, basic spices, plastic food wrap and aluminum foil and laundry soap. If you arrive on a Sunday or after 5:30pm please let us know if you would like us to pick up a few groceries and we are happy to do so if you send us a list. You can reimburse us when you arrive.

We are central located so most of the restaurants and night spots are within 3 miles of Driftwood. There is plenty of parking in our property. Exuma is not crowded so parking is very convenient and easy everywhere you go

After you book a detailed document will be sent to you with tips on what to bring, detailed directions to various important places and contact phone numbers to assist you in booking excursions. How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Lidia / Eric (the owner) a message.

If Lidia / Eric (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
