From the owner

Light, airy and spacious best describes our holiday home. It has been fitted out in a modern style to a high standard to suit us. This is a beautiful area with the waterfront just a minutes walk away; here you can swim from small puntas' and beaches. Imagine swimming out into this wonderful bay surrounded by mountains

Ljuta is a select, quiet, village at the eastern end of the Boka Kotorska Bay, here the water is kept fresh by an underground river. It is mid way between the world heritage sites of Kotor and Perast, each just a 10 minute drive. The good road, and location, mean it is ideally positioned for those wishing to explore Montenegro further.

Solmar is a small, exclusive, development with each apartment occupying an entire floor. Our apartment faces South West so gets good sun from mid morning to some fabulous sunsets. We were so impressed with the design we bought, off plan. It is a well laid out apartment with a large balcony stretching across the entire front, overlooking the bay, (see picture). There are two sun-loungers and, if the sun gets too intense, we have fitted a large awning to provide shade. You can dine al fresco on the balcony or in the separate dining room where there is a 6 seat glass Italian table.. The sitting room is equipped with 2 Italian leather settees, bean bag, glass coffee tables etc. It is air conditioned but we have also installed a ceiling fan to give a cooling breeze which we prefer. There is a music centre and flat screen TV. The modern kitchen is well fitted if you fancy cooking.Each bedroom is en-suite and has a large built in wardrobe. There is an inflatable airbed for an extra sleeping facility.

Outside there are some lovely local walks and we can supply information on more challenging ones for the adventurous. Over the years we have done a fair bit of traveling in the are should you need ideas. A friend of ours runs an outdoor adventure company for those wishing to hike off the beaten track or white water raft, or try kayaking around the bay.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.
