Description

Colorado Mountain Retreat is a mountain property in a great location: just 10 miles to Colorado Springs, 8 miles to historic Manitou Springs, 5 miles to Woodland Park. Great little mountain community offers variety of local restaurants just 1 mile away (you can actually take a trail there and stay for lunch), a community pool, a park with a lake and a fountain in the middle of it. Some summer festivals and events take place in the park and Green Mountain Falls community every summer.

You can walk to historic center of Green Mountain Fall along the Fountain Creek to enjoy a beautiful lake and park with a playground and picnic tables there, as well as a community swimming pool (open during summer months) and some wonderful local restaurants (Mucky Duck, Pantry, etc). A lot of sightseeing, lakes, trails, historic towns in surrounding area such as Manitou Springs, Cripple Creek

The house offers a wonderful view and a great location. Santa"s Workshop is just a few minutes away. Pikes Peak Highway that can take you to the summit of Pikes Peak starts right here too..We are a few miles to Dinosaur Museum, an actual working laboratory kids and adults will enjoy..

We have a brand new BBQ grill on the deck, brand new big screen TV, . All bedrooms are furnished with custom made aspen log furniture, brand new pillow top mattresses, 2 sets of brand new leather furniture in the living room. We have remodeled two bathroom with contemporary vanities.

There is a clearing in front of the house. You could see wildlife there almost every morning and at sunset. We saw deer, foxes, squirrels, beautiful birds, elks, etc...

Relax with a glass of wine on the patio or a cup of coffee in the morning and let natural scenery unfold its beauty...

Getting around

There are a lot of bike and walking trails around. One of our favorite is along Fountain Creek to the lake in Green Mountain Falls. There are a bunch of little restaurants around the lake, a playground for kids and a picnic tables if you prefer to bring your own food. You can fish in the lake if desired. No license is required for children under 16.

How do damage deposits work?
