From the owner

Villa Amandiere is situated in Cavalaire sur mer, a small seaside family resort only 10 miles from St Tropez. The villa is a typical Provençal building with wooden beams, terrace and sits in lovely landscaped Mediterranean gardens. The villa has 3 bedrooms, one with an e suite, they are all of a good size with built in wardrobes, and 2 of the bedrooms have French doors leading on to the garden..This spring however we are only letting 2 out of our 3 bedrooms. The lounge/dining room is of a good size with 2 sets of French doors leading onto the gardens. There is a beautiful fireplace, and the villa has electric heaters throughout. There is a well equipped kitchen with a door leading onto the covered terrace. There is bathroom with full sized bath and shower, bidet, and a separate toilet.

It is primarily our home, but in the last few years we have been letting it for a few weeks each year.

There are games, books, flat screen TV, TV and DVD player, radio, in the villa for your use and outside there is a table tennis table, large inter hot tub, and yoga area.

In the gardens, there are tables for outside dining and a BBQ. The decked area has beautiful views towards the isles d'or and the sea and provides a tranquil area for rest and relaxation.

In 2019 we installed a hot tub- a large intex tub - which has been a welcome addition on the feedback from our guests. It is surrounded by AstroTurf grass, seating and at night lit with fairy lights. This area of the garden has been made into a secluded relaxation area for guests with wonderful views.

If any guests would like us to arrange specific activities during their stay , we are happy to do this at an extra cost. This for example could be a sailing course, scuba diving, boat trips either with a group rental or individual rental - with or without a skipper, a walking programme, cycle hire, vineyard tours or just an escorted trip to a local attraction or town.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Lesley (the owner) a message.

If Lesley (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
