A 5 minute drive from Englishman's Bay, this is a secluded yet comfortable villa that is perfect for anyone wishing for a holiday in beautiful surroundings close to nature. It is set amongst a thriving jungle with one of the world's largest variety of birdlife.
In between two picturesque fishing villages - Castara and Parlutuvier - fresh fish such as red snapper, king fish and tuna can be caught, bought and cooked by our pool within 30 minutes. A beautiful garden is maintained by our loyal and trusted gardener Jango, who can assist you on a range of matters. A cleaner, Glynis, comes in three times a week. There is a private drive with an electric gate. There is an opportunity to fish, either off the beach or off a boat; play golf in one of two excellent, beautiful golf courses - one of which is PGA licensed; go on jungle walks to waterfalls; scuba dive and snorkel with turtles and angel fish; or simply beach hop around the coastline, with each beach as good as the last.

The Tobago region
Tobago is a beautiful island that is yet to feel the effects of mass tourism, yet has as many if not more perfect locations of the more established Caribbean islands. The house is nestled within the natural reserve rainforest park, one of the oldest in the western hemisphere. As such there is little development in the area.
Our property is situated very near to one of the most renowned beaches in the world - Englishman's Bay. It is in a secluded eco-environment with very strict planning rules and as a result is extremely unspoilt.
Tobago is the closest Caribbean island to the equator, and has a tropical climate. Average annual temperatures range from 72 to 84 degrees Fahrenheit, with trade winds cooling the coastline. Rainfall is the largest indicator of seasonal change. During the wet season, from June to December, the islands get about 40 inches of rain each year.
Take your pick from beautiful beaches - although favorite and local in Englishman's Bay, with exceptional snorkelling. Other world famous beach is Pigeon Point - The Caribbean picture perfect beach.
Two beautiful and well kept golf courses - Tobago Plantations and Mount Irvine, both with buggies.

"Very peaceful and spacious home in a great location."
Everything was well prepared when we arrived. Jango (the master gardener and our greeter when we arrived) was very patient and waited for 4 hours as our flight was delayed. The house was well equiped with all the kitchen needs including the most important BBQ grill. Great for cooking the local fish of the day!! Houskeeping came 3-4 times in the week for fresh towels and sheets. We loved the island and everything it had to offer: 1. The in-house dining experience with Adam was excellent and very reasonable priced. Well recommended for at least one night of your stay. 2. Englishman's bay was one of the nicest beaches and only a 5 minute drive from the villa. The roti lunch at Eula's was fantasick. 3. The hike to the highest point on the Island (Pigeon Point) was challenging, but well worth the trip. The rainforest hike and birdwatching tour (with Peter Cox) was also a great and professional experience. 4. We recommend taking a small fishing boat over to Little Tobago and Goat Island......this was more personalized than the commercial tours offered. 5.Wednesday night at the Boat House was a blast. Steel drum night and the place was packed. 6. You have to buy a loaf of homemade (dirt oven) bread in Castera. Three old ladies have been making the bread for generations. 7. 2 words of caution....take as much TT's as possible. The only ATM's that dispensed cash for us were in Scarborough or Crown point. Also, the grocery stores outside of Crown point/Scarborough have very limited groceries. Buy as much as possible when Jango takes you shopping. 8. Mr. Rattan's rental car service was great. Great car, great service.

Rekommenderas!
