“We loved it !” Casa Cassini has a relaxing atmosphere that is therapeutic ! First, it has the most breathtaking views from the appartment that we coudln't get tired of and were thinking about for weeks after our return. The beautiful terasse overlooking the plantation and the sea is just so exotic and beautiful. The comfort of the appartment, the couches, the view from everywhere, the kitchen, everything was so pleasant. Having a drink on the terasse was priceless. The swimming pool is set in an idyllic surrounding and always open for dips anytime of the day ! You forget all your troubles over there ! The hotel is well situated to get everywhere. Steven and The Canadian warmness is part of the deal ! Jan are great hosts ! You can count on them for information and even good company. They know where to direct you to avoid overpriced tourist traps. We did a lot of day trips ! The Catamaran was one of our favorites. The English Man's Bay was a beautiful beach ! We loved our stay there and we sherish our memories. You really let go over there, it is so relaxing ! You tend to miss it when you come back ! Looking forward to go there again ! “A restful and pretty place” A lovely, large bungalow, on the top of a hill, with views in all directions down to both oceans. The house is comfortable with a nice colonial feel. There are beautiful, well maintained gardens, and a nice private swimming pool. I have often found that places can look nice on the brochure but when you get there there is noise, or something you didn't see. The ambassador's House is not like that, it is peaceful and pleasant. It is not far from Scarborough by car, but just far enough away that you wouldn't call it a suburb. Windy Edge is its own little place with just a handful of houses. The only negative for me was the large number of flies which fall on the terraces outside, but I think this is only in the rainy half of the year. Fortunately there is a wonderful housekeeper who cleans these up. She is also the best source of good cooking around and made the stay very pleasant.
