Description:

This is a large, 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom,, 90sqm (990 sqft), fully air-conditioned apartment in a 1930's Art Decco building on the sea, in excellent condition throughout. The apartment is ground floor, facing the sea on Boulevard du Midi in Cannes; there are Public & Private beaches across the road. The Private beaches all have bars/restaurants and serviced sunbeds.*** Wonderful Private beach restaurants opposite were completely rebuilt in 2015 ***.

Location:

The apartment is on Boulevard du Midi, right on the sea with Public and Private beaches opposite. It is within easy walking distance of the Palais des Festivals (c1000m), rue d’Antibes and the Croisette.

Bedrooms:

The bedrooms (2) can be made up either as one double bed or 2 single beds. We can also provide a child's cot if required. The living room has a very good quality fold-out couch bed (a double).

Bathrooms:

There are two bathrooms (one is ensuite); each has a WC, Wash-hand basin & shower. The bathrooms were installed during a recent, major refurbishment.

Air Conditioning & Heating:

A new, full air-conditioning system was also installed during the renovation. There are three independent units - one in the living area and one in each of the bedrooms. The air-conditioning units also act 'reversibly' for heating. Hot water is by electric cylinder.

Restaurants:

There is a wide selection of restaurants along the seafront, starting 50m from the apartment; we have a boulangerie/bakery right next door.

Internet, WiFi & TV:

The apartment has WiFi Broadband access and TV with BBC News, CNN, SkyNEWS & RAI 1.

Parking:

Parking is in the apartment grounds and is free of charge.

Utilities:

All Utilities (water, electricity, refuse) & Wi-Fi access are included in the Rental cost.

Terrace:

The large terrace has a table and 6 chairs and 2 sun loungers. The terrace affords an amazing, panoramic view of the Mediterranean. Sit on the terrace and watch the cruise ships arrive and leave Cannes bay.

Public Park:

The public park beside the apartment has a children's play area & boules area.

General:

The Palais des Festival, Croisette and rue D'Antibes are within 1000m - about a 10-15 minute walk. There are many tourist trips available in Cannes - a tour of Cannes itself taking in the famous hotels along the Croisette, the old town of Le Suquet, the Palais des Festivals & the various markets (Forville, Gambetta etc). Boat trips to the Islands and St.Tropez leave from the pier about 500m form the apartment. Cannes rail station is about 2km (20-25min) walk and has regular services to Nice, Paris, Monaco and Northern Italy. All the major car rental companies operate in Cannes; there is also a local car rental agency beside the apartment.

Why can't I call Ciaran (the owner) before booking?

You can exchange contact details with the property owner/manager once your booking is confirmed and you’ve paid in full. Paying and communicating only through our platform allows us to ensure that your booking is covered by our Payment Protection policy.

If you have any questions before booking, you can send the property owner/manager a message via the contact form on their listing. Once you’ve booked, you can discuss the rental and make arrangements for your trip by logging into Manage my booking.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I pay the balance of my holiday?

How can I retract my booking request?

You’ll need to contact Ciaran (the owner) to do this. Send them a message in Manage your holiday booking or through the contact form on this page.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Ciaran (the owner) a message.

If Ciaran (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
