Modern, well-equipped apartment 400M from Calvi Beach, 300M from shops and restaurants.

Furnished as a second home we want our guests to enjoy a relaxing holiday in comfortable surroundings with modern facilities, a well-equipped kitchen and for those who want to stay in touch we include the use of WIFI. The bedrooms are air conditioned. The apartment is located in the high quality Maria Stella residence, offering beautifully landscaped grounds and the use of a shared pool.

The property is ideal for couples or young families looking for a beach holiday with shops and restaurants on hand. Alternatively for the more active, Calvi is a perfect base for exploring the mountains and villages of the Haute Balagne, offering lots of hiking and coastal walks.

The apartment offers a large balcony ideal for al fresco dining but for nights you prefer to eat out there's a wide variety of excellent restaurants to choose from in Calvi.

Corsica is renowned for its polyphonic music with artists touring the island throughout the summer. If you've not experienced the soulful sounds of Acapella then be sure to go along to one of the concerts.

Getting around

You can explore the area by the following ways. I have left a number of information leaflets in a folder in the apartment: Boat trips (book at the harbour) Coach trips Quad Bikes 4x4 Adventures to remote beaches Rail - there is a railway line between Calvi and Ille Rousse. The train stops at many different beaches on the way, you can hop off and then get the train back at the end of a day on the beach Car - if you haven't hired a car for the duration of your trip there are car hire offices in the town to hire one for a few days

Owner's reply: Thanks for your comments Elaine. I'm sorry that you had issues with the batteries in the garage remote we will be ensuring that these are all replaced for the start of the next season. I'm glad we were also able to sort out the problem with the trip switch and the power. I take your point entirely with regard to having someone on hand locally on changeover day and we will have an agent who will be personally meeting and greeting clients when they arrive on Sundays from the beginning of next season. How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Carol (the owner) a message.

If Carol (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
