From the owner

La Braña is a house composed of two independent accommodations located in a rural setting within a 20,000 m2 estate on the banks of the Deva River. This location allows the visitor to enjoy a wide variety of services without sacrificing the tranquility and independence that it provides being located within an independent and closed estate. Each accommodation has its own garden and has a terrace, barbecue and outdoor furniture. Inside we have a living room, kitchen, two bedrooms (one with double bed and the other with two single beds) and two bathrooms with quality furniture and rustic style. The situation, on the eastern limit of the coast of Asturias, allows us to enjoy the best places to visit both in Asturias and Cantabria within walking distance. A large number of beaches from 3 km from the house await us and the great Natural Park of the Picos de Europa is just 30 minutes away by car. The weather is excellent, the temperature varies between 20ºC and 25ºC, which allows you to enjoy the beach, the countryside or the mountains during the day and sleep under a blanket at night. In the vicinity we have the valleys of Deva, Nansa and Saja with its countless villages, being able to plan a variety of excursions and enjoy its cuisine, as well as in more known locations such as Llanes and Ribadesella in Asturias or San Vicente de la Barquera and Comillas in Cantabria. We can carry out many activities, organized by the same visitor as by active tourism companies that offer their activities. The leisure offer in the area is very varied: horse riding, diving, surfing, canoeing, canyoning, walking routes, bike routes, fishing, high mountains, cultural views (road to Santiago de la Costa with its landscapes and hermitages, prehistoric caves, Indian architecture, etc). How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

Go to Manage your holiday booking to view all your booking details, pay the balance of your holiday or cancel it if you need to.

How do I pay the balance of my holiday?

You can pay the remaining balance of your holiday at any point. Simply go to Manage my holiday booking and click Pay now.

We’ll automatically charge the balance payment to the same payment method 10 days before it’s due. Go to Manage my holiday booking to see when the payment will be taken.

How can I retract my booking request?

You’ll need to contact José (the owner) to do this. Send them a message in Manage your holiday booking or through the contact form on this page.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send José (the owner) a message.

If José (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
