Sit on the patio deck bordering the 18th fairway at the Mt. Mitchell Golf Course and take in the spectacular picturesque vista of the Black Mountain range without leaving the townhouse. Set amidst the Pisgah National Forest, this is the perfect location for all your sightseeing and adventures in the North Carolina mountains. Just minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway and the Mt. Mitchell State Park - you'll want to stay longer to enjoy all there is to do and see.

THE SPACE

The Hummingbird Cottage is a split-level townhouse with two bedrooms and a furnished basement. The second floor consists of the master bedroom, which holds a king size bed, and is equipped with a private bath. On the main floor is the second bedroom with a queen size bed and a private bath, the living room and dining area that opens onto the patio deck overlooking the 18th fairway, and spacious kitchen. Downstairs in the basement you will find a half bathroom, lounge area with a queen size sofa bed, as well as a family room off to the side with a full-size day bed with a pull-out twin bed underneath. There is also a washer and dryer in the basement with laundry soap for one load. WiFi and cable television in the living room and basement is provided for your enjoyment.

The kitchen is complete with all modern appliances including a microwave, gas range, and both a Keurig and drip coffee maker with enough coffee to start your stay. Tucked in the corner is a quaint breakfast nook with a view of the garden and the golf course, which makes for a wonderful start to the day. Central heating and A/C with 4 zone control provides you comfort so you don't have to freeze in the basement while burning in the upper level.

On the deck, new patio furniture and a gas grill are provided for outdoor enjoyment while admiring the mountain views.

Everything you need to stay is included: dining ware and cookware in the kitchen, linens, towels, soap, sample sized shampoo and conditioner, and dishwasher soap.

This is a home away from home and we like it to be comfortable and complete so you reap the benefits.

How do damage deposits work?
