“Amazing!” I was looking for a comfortable, quiet, secluded cabin to enjoy some well needed rest and relaxation and that is exactly what I found with the Millers. From the reservation process to the check in process Mr. Miller made everything so extremely easy!! He even mailed a detailed map of every single turn we needed to take. Please believe me when I say the pictures do this small piece of heaven absolutely no justice. When you pull up to the cabin the view will take your breath away. Only someone as amazing as our Good Lord could create such an amazing countryside view. Occasionally you might get a visit from the turkeys, deer or other wildlife. They have everything you could possibly need on site. The only thing you need to bring is your food. They already have linens, towels, paper goods, laundry facilities, fire wood, books even movies. The cabin is clean as a whistle! Mrs. Robin even has a notebook with her ratings for local restaurants, events and local hot spots (I have to say her rating system, spot on.) This was our first stay with the Millers but it absolutely will not be our last!! I am counting every single second until we are able to come back.
“Best unplanned vacation” Let me start by saying this property is absolutely amazing. The house is very cozy with everything you would need for a comfortable stay. The surrounding area is beautiful and not far from a few fun "attractions" such as a horse trail and a park if you enjoy hiking and zip lining.
Above all, John is a very generous host. The reason why we booked this property was not your average vacation or family getaway. Hurricane Irma was approaching South Florida and my family and I, like millions of other floridians, decided to evacuate the state. Needless to say, finding an affordable place to stay was almost impossible so finding this property was a blessing. After our fist night at the house we found out that some of our family members who had originally decided to stay and ride out the storm in their homes were also evacuating, since the forecast kept getting more and more grimm by the hour. John was generous enough to allow our family members to stay with us through the storm without an extra charge (our numbers at this point exceeded the limit of 6 guests that the house accommodates) even though we offered to pay.
In the end, I would give this house 10 starts if I could and I encourage everyone considering this property for a vacation (or escaping a natural disaster) to book it without hesitation, you will not regret it.
