Pijpeweg71 is a stunning cottage set on the edge of classical Flemish landscape, yet only a few minutes drive from historic Bruges, the charming village of Damme and the exclusive coastal resort Knokke. The cottage overlooks fields and is just the place for a relaxing break in style, far from busy city life.

Having been completely redeveloped inside and out in 2010, Pijpeweg71 has all the latest fixtures and fittings you would expect from an elegant holiday home. The interior décor combines granite, blue stone, linen, woods and easy colours in an effortless style that the Flemish are renowned for.

With three quarters of an acre of beautifully landscaped gardens and an orchard that opens up to a vista across neighbouring fields, the cottage is also an ideal location to host an unforgettable private party during your stay.

Pijpeweg71 is the ideal setting for a relaxing break. It is also the perfect hideaway from which to explore the historic Bruges and Damme, as well as Knokke, the nearby smart coastal resort.

With its 3 bedrooms the cottage can sleep 6 to 7 people comfortably.

The kitchen with its black granite worktop is fully equipped with the latest fittings and equipment, providing everything you need to prepare a special meal.

The open plan living and dining area leads off the kitchen, where you will find a dining table and Eames Dining Arm Rod chairs for 8 people, together with a wood burner to keep you cosy long into the night. There is also a bar with a wine fridge (wine list available upon request).

At the other end of the open plan room you'll find a snug with a sofa, armchairs and TV. At the back of the cottage, enjoying fine views over the property's landscaped gardens, there's a library with another woodburner for a relaxing read in peace.

The roomy bathroom provides a spacious rain shower and bath. The cottage has 2 additional loos.

In the garden, the south-facing terrace, a large natural pond and the shadow of the orchard provide an outdoor haven that draws your eye to the landscape beyond.

There is off-road parking outside the cottage and storage for bikes.

However to overcome this problem when small kids are our guests, we can arrange for a childproof fence to be installed before the walkway making it more safe for them.     How do damage deposits work?

    In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

    Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

    How do I edit my booking?

    You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Els (the owner) a message.

    If Els (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
