Description

Snowgums is situated in a quiet village on the edge of Briancon. Wonderful group or family accomodation in beautiful old farmhouse, right in the heart of Serre Chevalier! 300 days of sunshine a year!

Prices here are based on a stay of 7 nights, Saturday to Saturday. Shorter or longer stays are welcome. Please ask for prices for your group and dates.

Two minutes from Chantemerle cablecar and the pistes. 10 minutes to thermal spa baths with sauna, hamam, flotation tank, indoor/outdoor pools etc. Easy access to all mountain sports, skiing, boarding, cycling, mountain biking, hiking, rafting, canoeing and lots more! In a village on the edge of Briancon, UNESCO world heritage listed fortified old town, with all amenities, just 5 minutes away. Apartments are very spacious, and there's an excellent ski room and a great games cupboard for all ages. All linen provided, including feather pillows and duvets. Free local bus takes you direct to Chantemerle cable car and the pistes. Self-catering accomodation but optional fine in-house evening meals by local chef Nathalie may be pre-ordered for one or as many days as you choose, from 25 euros per head per meal for four courses plus wine. Discounts may apply if you're group is only two couples and/or young families. Please ask for details. Rentals for less than one week (minimum 3 nights) are welcome, but are not priced on a pro rata basis. Please ask for prices for your group and your prefered dates. All sleeping areas either have original, beamed ceilings, or cosy, original, vaulted ceilings. Kitchen and living areas have beautiful original beamed ceilings. All rooms have views across the garden and field to the mountains. There is underfloor heating and central heating throughout all the rooms. All rooms brightly decorated with a mix of new and traditional furniture and features.

Getting around

A car really isn't necessary if you're here to ski as there are free ski buses taking you the 2km to the slopes, all day, every day. Out of ski season there are a few buses that take you further afield, and there are regular buses into town all day, but a car or bikes will mean you can really explore the area and see all it has to offer.
