“Great location for a ski holiday”

Great apartment in central location- close to restaurants, shops and most importanty just a short walk to the main ski lift. We are a family of four with kids age 14 and 12. The fact it was so close to the lifts was great for the kids- it was like ski in ski out. The size of the apartment was fine for 4 people. Although the kitchen is small, it has everything you need. Also, there were useful supplies in the cupboard that you can use eg salt, oil etc. When we arrived there was a nice selection of items in the kitchen- croissants, milk, wine, water which is useful if you arrive late. The decoration of the apartment is more old fashioned and homely- dont come here if you want a modern apartment. One thing to note is in the evenings you can hear the sound of the skidoos that take people up to the mountain restaurants for dinner and when they are coming back. It didnt bother me too much but I wear earplugs to sleep. The owner Cinzia was very easy to contact and really helpful with any queries. All in all, great apartment for a ski holiday.

“Flat in Cervinia”

The best feature of this flat is its location. It is located right in front of the chair lift. Excellent location. The flat itself is not very good. The kitchen is very small and it is badly equipped, no dishwasher. The bathroom is okay but there is just hot water in the shower for two persons even though there is two bedrooms and beds for four persons. We will not rent this again but we will search for another flat in the same building but a flat that is more modern.

Owner's reply: INGRID, I AM AMAZED BY YOUR REVIEW! I answer to your observations by points: 1) the kitchen is small but it is photographed and it does not include a dishwasher: please read the description you have not read; 2) the hot water of the apartment is supplied by a boiler of 80 liters to 60 degrees as in all holiday homes in Cervinia, because the whole Breuil Cervinia is not served by gas (mixed with cold water, 4 people can take a shower) and then it still warms up. Now I have something to say: you left a filthy house, in fact the cleaning company asked me for a triple the price even if I did not charge you! I consider you a bad host that I do not recommend to anyone! Thanks to all my guests I have good / very good reviews of my apartment. PS: your negativity is due to the horrible weather during your holidays: wind, cold, closed ski facilities etc ... BUT I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS!

How do damage deposits work?
