hideAway is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath comfortable villa with modern appliances and tropical gardens to ensure a private and relaxing stay in the tranquil development of Atlantic Rising, located on the South East coast of the Caribbean island of Barbados. The villa is a short walk to the beautiful beach at Bottom Bay and is available for short, mid and long stays. Discount will apply for mid/long stays.

Suitable for Welcome Stamp applicants with super-strong reliable WiFi (download +190Mbps, upload +80mbps) and very peaceful location.

As you enter you will find a welcoming open concept lounge area, leading on to the spacious outdoor patio area overlooking the pool and garden. The patio/pool area includes a dining table with chairs, sofa seating, sun-lounge beds and an outdoor shower.

The kitchen is fully equipped with crockery, cutlery, pots, pans and utensils. There is a SMEG electric oven/grill with an easy-clean ceramic hob, a large fridge freezer, microwave, washing machine and dishwasher.

Each bedroom is equipped with air conditioning. The master bedroom has a walk-in closet and en-suite bathroom. The other 2 bedrooms share the second bathroom.

Bed linen, bathroom and kitchen towels are provided. Please bring your own beach towels.

There is a smart flat-screen TV with satellite app channels including NetFlix (set-up to use with our account).

We have free superfast WiFi throughout the villa and the use of a telephone

for free calls within Barbados - perfect for booking those restaurants or day trips!

A car is strongly recommended in this beautiful, tranquil Parish of St Philip. We highly recommend the friendly professional service offered by Southern Rentals who kindly offer hideAway guests a 10% discount (please mention at time of booking your car).

The villa is ideally suited to couples who want somewhere to relax after a busy day enjoying the many sights and interesting places to visit during the day. Everything has been provided so you can just relax and enjoy your stay from the moment you arrive at your villa in the sun. We are justifiably proud of our villa and sincerely hope that your stay will be the first of many.

Please ensure you have adequate travel/holiday insurance to cover for any eventualities that may arise before or during your trip.

A few polite requests:

• When leaving the villa kindly switch off the AC and lights, and remember to lock the doors as you would at home.

• We ask you to be vigilant and careful not to get makeup, suntan lotion or insect repellant on the towels, linens or upholstery as they will stain. If this occurs, you may be charged £15 per item for additional cleaning required. If the stains cannot be removed, a total charge for the replacement cost of the item(s) will be applied.

• If you break anything, please let me know at the time it occurs. There will likely be no impact on the security deposit however it gives me time to replace the item before the next guests arrive.

Thank you for taking the time to do your review Grant. I would like to respond to some of your comments. We have not advertised a BBQ for some time now as it was broken by a previous guest - apologies that you weren't made aware of this before your arrival. The pool is small but bigger than plunge pool size, and I trust you and your family were able to jump in and splash around to cool off. The dishwasher has now been fixed (we were waiting for the part to be delivered from Germany) and since we were made aware of the leak, a new fridge/freezer has been ordered. The NetFlix is set-up with access to our account for all guests to enjoy. My property manager was not made aware that access had been lost, so my apologies for this. It has now been restored for all future guests to enjoy. It is always helpful to contact our property manager with any issues while you are at the villa as she can deal with them while you are in situ. I sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused by these minor issues and I hope it didn't impede on the overall enjoyment of your holiday.

How do damage deposits work?

If Carol (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
