“Hideaway : A well kept secret” Hideaway is situated in an ideal location on the island between the rugged beauty of the east coast and the peaceful calm of the south west. The villa is very well equiped with a high standard of cleanliness, decore and repair. The owners have added thoughtful touches like hand compiled info on the area with lots of interesting detail and a mobile phone for your use whilst there.
The meeting and greeting is done by Jan and John who are not only very lovely people but went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure our stay was excellent. The pool and garden are maintained every week by equally friendly blokes.
Bottom bay is a piece of paradise and althouhg you cannot swim there Foul Bay is safe for swimming and even more beautiful. The good thing about the location of Hideaway is that it is away from the hussle and bussle of the more crowded west coat. The Island is small and so it is easy to travel pretty much anywhere in a day.
Overall we had a two week stay that we will truely remember in comfortable surroundings in a beautiful part of this gem of an island. I can firmly recommend all aspects of this lovely villa which also represents excellent value for money.
I reluctantly wtrite thsi review as I woudl really like hideaway to remain a well kept secret.
This was my first time visiting Barbados and staying at Cou Cou~ I will definitely be returning!!!!. Cou Cou is a well maintained and tastefully decorated villa with even the smallest of amenities thought of which assist in making your stay more enjoyable. The BBQ and Private Pool make for an enjoyable time when just relaxing around Cou Cou. A few steps and you walk onto Breath Taking Bottom Bay Beach which is a picture perfect beach located in Barbados and is very quiet and private. I loved driving around the Island and taking in the entire experience and looking at all of the stunning scenery! The people and atmosphere in Barbados is friendly, relaxed and hospitable...definitely a trip I will never forget! …
Ridge View Villa
My wife and I stayed at the villa from 02/09/2013 to 30/09/2013, of all the places we have stayed in Barbados this is the first place we have re-booked for the following year.
First of all the photographs do not do the place justice, it is very clean and well kept.
Sylvia and Wesley will do all they can to to accommodate you in what ever you want.
Mauva and Phillip who look after the place are just as willing to help, Mauve phones you regularly to check that very thing is fine, to be honest we can not praise Mauve and Phillip enough.
We had a small complementary food hamper on arrival which included two bottles of Bank's which we were ready for after our long flight from the U/K.
The pool is great and it is cleaned twice a week.
The garden's are very well kept, the whole area is pleasant and quiet.
Many thanks to Sylvia,Wesley,Mauva, and Phillip.

Bougan Villa, Bottom Bay
Holiday of a lifetime
This was not our first time in the Caribbean but it was definitely our best. We were a mixed group of teenage boys, early twenties girls and the oldies who paid for most of it. Barbados is a brilliant place to visit with loads of brilliant beaches and activities and Bougan Villa was a brilliant place to be based. The activities of the 'Crop Over' were great family events and there are lots of activities going on into the night for those with plenty of energy. The locals certainly encourage you to take part!! We did belly boarding, snorkelling, scuba. kayaking and catamaran cruise as well as quiet walks (all suggested by Nicola, the owner) and loads and loads of sunbathing. Nicola also gave a suggestion of places to eat both up-market and 'cheap and cheerful' and the Bajan hospitality was brilliant. Bougan Villa was supperb for chilling and relaxing. We had fabulous meals at home, barbecues around the pool and there were even some 'fast food' options for the younger members close by. All told, this was a brilliant holiday - made even better by staying in a house that was a real 'home from home'. We are just checking our diaries to see when our next visit will be. …
hideAway, a luxury villa with private pool *Awarded Certificate of Excellence*
Lovely Villa, quiet location
Hideaway was a lovely villa to stay in for a week. It is new, so in very good condition, everything you need is provided and the manager is on hand for anything you require. Only drawback for some may be it's relatively remote location which makes a car essential, but as car hire is not expensive this isn't a problem.Would definitely stay there again. …
Sunrise Villa,Private Pool, ,Atlantic Rising, Bottom Bay, St Philip, Free Wi Fi
5 minutes to an amazing beach
We stayed at Sunrise Villa for 12 days in March. The weather was brilliant, some rain but on the whole it was in the 80's. The villa had everything you could want for a self catering holiday, well equipped kitchen, washing machine, fridge freezer. The outside space was very good, lots of table & chairs for al fresco dining. The swimming pool was a good size so you could actually swim and also very private. The beach at Bottom Bay was a 5 minute walk and at times it felt like Robinson Crusoe, we were the only ones there. Great for sunbathing as being on the Atlantic coast there was a constant breeze. …
My boyfriend and I had the privilege of staying at Edna's Court on two occasions. Our first experience was back in December 2015 and based on that made us return for the second time in December 2016 into January 2017. Our stay on both occasions was excellent. There are a list of things that made me fell in love with Edna's Court , first of all, is its serenity. It is located in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood that lends to that relaxing frame of mind and given that it is close to beach is an extra. The villa was very clean and well maintained will full amenities. The owner and the caretaker were both very helpful and accommodating and with that gives a level of comfort. Overall I am definitely satisfied with my experience at Edna's Court. …
