From the owner

We offer a large, bright, south-facing double bedroom (or twin room option) on the first floor of our Provencal home, Oustau du Ventoux, which is situated 3km from Bédoin in the calm of the countryside hamlet of Les Baux. Mont Ventoux summit is only 17km from the house and many walking routes are on the doorstep. A large bathroom with walk-in shower is beside the bedroom and there is an additional independent toilet. Guests have the use of an upstairs lounge with a flat screen TV (including English speaking channels) dvd/blu-ray player with selection of dvds. Guests have use of a fridge and refreshments are also provided.

We serve breakfast on the terrace and guests have access to the garden, sun loungers, hamac and the pool which is shared by holidaymakers in the gite at the end of the garden.

There is a bar and pizzeria/restaurant in the village open during the summer period. Bédoin has many restaurants and a supermarket open all year round as well as a large open air summer swimming pool (July and August).

    How do damage deposits work?

    In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

    Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

    If Elaine (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
