Our Sweet Home Barcelona apartments are registered as Tourist Apartments with the Direcciò General de Turisme of the goverment of Catalunya, Spain.This luxury apartment is perfectly located in an upmarket street in the heart of the Eixample district, the Quadrat d'Or (The Golden Square) of central Barcelona a few blocks away from exclusive areas such as Passeig de Gràcia, the Rambla and Plaça Catalunya. The apartment dates from around the year 1900 and have original 'Escofet' tiled floors and period features. We have worked carefully with designers and specialists to retain the original features whilst bringing the apartment into the 21st century by including stylish modern kitchens, bathrooms, comfortable living room with sofas, satellite television, DVD and CD player, dining area with table and chairs and period balcony looking over great period architecture. The whole flat is hot/air conditioning. and within comfortable walking distance of most top popular tourist sites such as Gaudi modernist architecture designer shopping streets and the city 'Barceloneta beach'.

My family and I stayed for 3 days and found the apartment to be absolutely perfect for our needs. There was everything you could need to cater for yourselves and relax in the heart of Barcelona. The owner was very helpful from booking through to allowing us to leave a little later than usual to accommodate our late flights. All facilities were spotless and luxurious and the location was perfect.

We spent six days in Barcelona in May 2014 and stayed in a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment owned by Sweet Home Barcelona. The apartment was great! Well appointed and centrally located in Barcelona. It has a dishwasher and washer/dryer, as well as a laundry line to hang out washing if that is your preference. It was walking distance to Plaza de Catalunya, La Rambla, and Passeig de Gracia, a major shopping street with several Gaudi buildings. Our host Isabel was simply AMAZING! She met us at the apartment upon arrival, walked us through everything we needed to know and gave us some very helpful advice. She also checked in mid-week to ensure everything was okay and booked a large taxi for our departure. Thanks Isabel! We would not hesitate to recommend this apartment and Sweet Home Barcelona to anyone looking for a larger holiday rental in central Barcelona.
