“Fabulous location and house” Villa Irini is on a millionaires row of beautiful houses on the coast near Porto Heli 2 or 3 hours from Athens by car. Vangelis, the owner met us at the house and was helpful and interesting. The House is on a headland on the coast with a short path down to the sea. You can swim across the bay or to a small island very close by. It has a decent sized pool and in good weather we were all happy to spend a day at the house. There were 6 adults and 9 children in our group and this is about the maximum it could take with a number of the kids sharing in a studio downstairs. The house has a live in house keeper who was discrete and helpful at all times. Cooking for 15 people could have been a lot of work but we came to an arrangement with the house keeper who could cook what we bought and lifting that workload transformed our stay. The local Taverna was fine as an alternative. Trips to Spetses, the prehistoric cave (difficult to locate on internet as the spelling in English is different) longer trips to Epidavros we have done before. We would not hesitate giving a 5 star recommendation to Villa Irini. Fantastic.
