Cottages in Oughterard and Holiday homes - Holiday Lettings - Holiday Rentals Oughterard
Stayed at Kitty's Cottage with family in Aug-17 for a week. Cottage is in a good location, 10 minutes walk from Oughterard main centre but far enough to be peaceful. Great views out at the back and a good sized garden for my kids to run around in. 3 ample sized bedrooms all ensuite and a fantastic conservatory dining room. Weather wasn't great but didn't stop us doing what we wanted to do. We visited the Connemara national park, the beaches at Roundstone, Glengowla mines, Galway city and horse riding locally. I recommend Kittys Cottage and the local Area. …
So Perfect We Keep Coming Back
This is our fourth stay at Anam Samh so you’ll probably guess how much we like this heavenly place. Whatever the weather (we have been lucky most of the time) this house is perfect and caters for more or less any type of holiday – fishing, touring, families with children, older people etc. Large and very adaptable , so well equipped, and the views over Lough Corrib – wow!
Galway with all its vibrancy is less than 10 miles away and the breathtaking scenery of Connemara is on the doorstep. Try not to miss Roundstone and Lennane, Killary and the National Park or go south an hour into Co Clare. The splendid Zetland House Hotel at Cashel is less than an hour away and is worth a visit. Or just walk the countryside around Anam Samh, swim in the lake or try to catch your supper of trout. Bliss! …
