Properties on Holiday Lettings can be sorted/ranked in the following ways:
Orders properties using various data points, in particular: ratings, number of bedrooms/bathrooms, minimum number of nights, and data relating to the interest in/bookings of the property through us, including the advertiser’s rate of providing quotes to travellers who make enquiries. Other factors include price, property capacity, number of photographs, location, amenities, appearance in search results, page views, and the advertiser’s responsiveness and cancellation rate.
Price low to high / high to low
Orders properties based on either (i) the property’s minimum nightly price, if the traveller has searched without dates, or (ii) the average nightly price for the applicable week of the year, if the traveller has input dates.
Orders properties by total number of reviews attached to the listing (highest to lowest), irrespective of average score. Where there is a listing with the same number of reviews as another (or a listing with no reviews), properties are sorted according to their proximity to the searched location.
“Everything you could want in a vacation rental” Pros - Extraordinary property, immaculate, well decorated, Opulent, yet comfortable, well equipped high end kitchen. Good workout facility and the private rooftop pool provides a spectacular view. The staff at the Oyster Beach resort are fantastic - extraordinarily friendly. The resort bartender Sheldon brought my daughter fresh mangoes from his backyard and refused our attempts to compensate him. Enrici took great care of our family on the beach. A great place for families. No cruise ship traffic (this is a huge benefit).
Cons - I really have to dig to find anything wrong here.
First and foremost..you WILL need to rent a car. While only a few miles form Pburg it's off the beaten path (but that's why we like it..)
The beach is a 8 minute walk from the room which could be an issue for a family with small children or older or infirm visitors. The property is segregated from the resort by a security gate limiting interaction with the resort guests (this could be a positive, depending on your attitude, or the particular resort guest) . We were there during low season so it was very quiet at night. The area itself doesn't seem to be heavy on nightlife (again - keep in mind we were there in low season. If you're looking to get crazy every night this might not be for you but for families or those looking to relax, walk to great local restaurants and enjoy daytime outdoor activities this would be a great choice.
“What an amazing Place to stay while on Vacation.” Francie,
My wife april, our Boys Owen and Luke had the most wonderful time on your ranch. It started off kind of uncertain with the plumber messing up your broiler but without missing a beat you had a backup plan and placed us in your guest house. What an amazing place you have. Our boys enjoyed the wide open space to run and not to worry about traffic. Your bloodhounds greeted us every morning and then left to assist with your chores.
Very nicely located, we visited the Mesa Verde and the 4 Corners area and rode the Train and drove to Silverton. And wehn we came back relaxed in your jaccuzzi. I want to thank you so much for this great experience. The boys didn't want to leave and said good bye to your place as we exited the property. We are looking forward to possibly staying with you again,
Sincerely Jason Hunter
“Beautiful” Clean farm house. Shady location, nice breezes and surrounding gardens. Road is far enough back you only hear the occasional hiss of a passing vehicle. Thank you to the proprietor for a nice arrival package. Quiet, peaceful and the occasional chipmunk that runs past.
“Escape to a private getaway in the woods of East Texas” Great little Cottage. Grandkids and their Daddy went with us. Had a ball! Vic, the owner was very accommodating and full of information about the history of this turn of the century home. Didnt even miss cable TV! Kids caught fish from the stocked pond. Saw deer up close and some curious cows. Would go again. (Second bedroom is up some fairly steep steps, so keep that in mind if taking little children or elderly folks, but worked great for us!
