“Enjoyable” We had a really nice time. The accomodations were clean and comfortable. Being off the ocean was not a big deal because of the many public access sites. We enjoyed many fine dinners up and down the isle and liked being there during the last week in august when most people in North Carolina think summer is already over.

“Fantastic!” We stayed here for a weekend in the U.P. in October. Everything was perfect. The cottage was super clean, easy to find, and had everything we needed and then some. Including a lot of toys to keep my 2 year old daughter busy in the evenings. There is also a great park right across the street, and it"s minutes away from grocery stores and downtown Gladstone. We booked on short notice, and Ron was very quick to get us hooked up for the weekend. Only about an hour and some change to drive to Pictured Rock from here. Overall, we had a great experience, not only with the cottage, but the owners as well. We will definitely be back!! Highly recommended!

“Great place in the middle of Maggie Valley” Great place. Wonderful surroundings with a very clean and updated interior. “Perfect for seniors too!” My husband and I stayed here as our home base while attending a family 25th anniversary at nearby Norseman Restaurant. Delightful time and conveniently close by! We were seeking cleanliness and comfort and found it at Blue Heron. It far exceeded our expectations, it was immaculate, well designed, and spotlessly clean which is very important to us since I have several allergies. What impressed my husband Stanley, was amount of picturesque windows in every room, we counted two in bathroom, two in kitchen, two in the master-room and three large ones in main family room (includes the glass walkout doors) All overlook such a peaceful lakefront setting. Yesterday we saw deer crazing just three feet away! Im a fussy in nature, so only improvement I would add is to include more small teaspoons and few more small tumblers in the pantry. A little about the host Susan. She was absolutely adorable, so thoughtful, organized and accommodating to our personal needs. She had no problem when I asked her to stock the frig ahead of our late night arrival, and we were both impressed with her attention to detail. I loved her special touch of leaving out cream and some complimentary fair trade coffee. That Muskoka Maple is wonderful I might add. Nice to know its locally made. As seniors, we were impressed how Blue Heron was well shovelled, lit and sanded. Its those details why we definitely will return. Just a little on the side We just learned that Limberlost Road, the town of Huntsville, and algonquin Park have many art venues and galleries. Its a true passion of ours so thought Id share. I would be only too happy to share my experiences at Blue Heron

“Great Time - Great Value” My wife and I spent 11 lovely days in Saba, with 9 days at Flamboyant Cottage. The cottage was perfect for us. The setting is wonderful - with fabulous views that are a constant delight. Flamboyant is a reasonable walk into town (Windwardside) and the steep access drive is just enough to provide a little stimulation. We thought that the cottage was the prettiest on the island; the photographs are accurate, but do not really do it justice. The cottage is really commodious for two people and would be comfortable for two couples and or a couple and two children. The cottage and pool are well maintained and in very good condition. The local managers - Trish and Michael - are very helpful and a font of information for Saba. Saba is surely wonderful for people who seek beauty, views and quiet - with spectacular diving on the side. If that is what you want, it would be difficult to imagine a nicer place than Flamboyant cottage to stay while enjoying Saba.

“Absolutely wonderful cottage to stay in, super comfortable, great location.” We had a great time in the Jingle Bells Square Cottage. The kitchen is well equipped to cook any meal, the bed was very comfortable and we loved the fireplace in the dining/living room. Tv in the bedroom, kitchen and living room for those that need that convenience. The cottage was in a great location. Most all of the historical sites that we visited were in walking distance. We also walked to many shops and all of the restaurants that we dined at. The owner was very accommodating and sent us great information on things to do and see while we were in Savannah. I highly recommend this cottage. We would definitely stay there again.

“Beautiful little cottage” We stayed at this lovely little cottage on Siesta Key mid-April. The cottage is very nice, with all the amenities, even a washer/dryer for extended stays. It's cozy, with high ceilings, a nice bathroom and kitchen/living room. The bed seemed a little small (only a double), but it was very comfortable. The wireless internet was not working when we were there, which was a little frustrating. There is a beautiful pool and nice garden areas. The private beach was also very nice. All of the staff and the owner were extremely pleasant and welcoming. We enjoyed our time there.

“Cold March-Warm Cottage” My family and I spend three days in the Painted Hills Cottage this March and couldn't have been happier. While we were driving there, we were worried about the weather and thought we might have made a mistake by choosing Eastern Oregon for our spring break, but once we arrived and opened the door to the sweet house, all our doubts vanished. You could feel the love from the owners for this place with all the rooms being so cozy, the beds being exceptional comfy, and the kitchen very well stocked with everything we needed to cook up some memorable meals. Every day we've got dressed warm and headed out for a new adventure in this amazing area. Our trip to the Blue Basin at the Sheep Rock unit of the national Monument was very special and we saw quite a bit of wildlife including a small herd of antelope. We kept going back to the Painted Hills, which were simply beautiful in every daytime and lighting. After the second day we felt like coming home already every time we turned the key in the lock of "our” cottage. We will definitely come back here. Roland and family

“The VIEW is everything!” From the moment my husband and I walked into the cottage, we were thrilled and in awe of the ocean view. We spent a lot of time exploring the area but always returned back to the cottage loving that view. We walked the short distance to the beach every evening and enjoyed looking for rocks and shells and driftwood. I believe the cottage was built in 1939 so there are aspects of it that show it's age but the main living area is lovely with super comfortable chairs and couch. Kay (and Randy) are very easy to work and readily available for questions/problems - although we didn't have any. I would return in a heartbeat! ❤️

“Wonderful Getaway!!!” Pool Cottage proved to be everything that it was advertised to be - isolated enough to be private, close enough to town to be convenient, and offering all the beauty of a tropical island. Well done . . . .

“Heaven!!” I could not have asked for a more perfect home away from home for our recent trip to Vieques. My husband and two 20 something daughters loved this beautiful, functional, funky cottage. Everything was perfect! The breezes that come through the wonderful windows afforded no need for aC, the incredibly comfortable beds and pillows made for a great nights sleep, the beautiful pool was wonderful for a quick dip here and there in the little time that we were not at the gorgeous beaches. Hearing the roosters crowing made us feel right at home, having Oscar the dog and Callie the cat around made us miss our pets less, and our younger daughter loved sleeping in The Folly, feeling like she was out in nature. Traveling was made easy with all the helpful suggestions from the Bravo Boyz..from car rental, to airport pick up, to helpful hints about restaurants. I would recommend this place in a heart beat...and hope to some day have the good fortune to return to the Palm Cottage!

“Best home away from home at the beach.” I spent a lot of time searching for a bungalow at the beach and my expectations were surpassed when I opened the door! The owners were thoughtful in design, layout and furnishings to provide a laid back experience at the beach. I wished I could have stayed forever - it was that nice. I especially enjoyed the fully stocked kitchen which included colorful dishes to match the colorful walls and great blue floor! Best of all - location - you can walk everywhere as you are right in the historic Bridge Street neighborhood.

“Perfection in Marigny!” The house is perfect. The pool is perfect. The tropical garden surrounding the pool is perfect. The little family of chickens, the sweet chihuahua, and cats is perfect (friendly and quiet). The towels and sheets are perfect. The owners are perfect - friendly and warm and welcoming and helpful. The homemade soaps and shampoos (by the owner) are perfect. I didn't get to sample, but Ann even left eggs from the chickens in the fridge! The location is perfect. I know I keep using the same word, but seriously there is no reason to look any further at vacation homes in New Orleans. Stop here, book the Black Diamond, and then count the days until you can chill out in that garden pool with a drink and the company of Ann, Tom, Dot, Lulu, and Buddha. You won't regret it.

“Wonderful Cottage” My wife and I stayed at Tony & Jennifer's cottage for a week on our honeymoon this past summer. It was a wonderful experience and they were a great couple to work with! Jennifer met us at the door and showed us around the place. They have carefully provided virtually everything a guest will need during their stay there--including things we hadn't considered! The quiet, beautiful layout was perfect for our first week of married life together as we took various trips out to explore the island. Jennifer had all the tourist info there that we needed to plan our explorations of the island. My wife and I would love to come back to PEI someday and we'd definitely book Tony & Jennifer's cottage again if it were available!

“Perfect retreat” What a great place to relax and unwind! Whether from life in general or the daily work grind, Pacific Peace provides a break from it all. We started our days with a sunrise view of the Pacific from our cottage bedroom and from the hot tub just outside our door. We wrapped up our days listening to the waterfall in the koi pond within steps of the hot tub. Wonderfully appointed kitchen, soft fresh linens and space to spread out allowed us to enjoy lazy mornings with coffee and robes while staying connected with the modern conveniences. We were able to blend work with pleasure from this beautiful light-filled cottage. We will be back!
