“A truly wonderful experience... a great place!” Clos de Blisse is a beautifully appointed gite, set in wonderful gardens surrounded by lovely countryside. it is convenient to very many amenities in Normandy, to include the D-day beaches, Bayeux, Caen, Cherbourg, etc. The Carlson family made us very welcome and treated us like cherished guests. They have prepared the gite very well, it is tastefully and carefully renovated and furnished and contains everything a visitor might want, to include a hot-tub and sauna. It represents a quintessential Normandy farmhouse yet with all modern conveniences and would suit a family, a group or individuals equally well. We stayed for 12 days with 3 invited friends and can safely say that we would have no hesitation, whatsoever, in recommending the gite to anyone.

“Terrific house in a beautiful valley, perfect for a relaxing holiday with plenty of places nearby to visit” Just enjoyed a lovely week in a really nice house set in a tranquil valley.. Nicely furnished, quiet and relaxing. All the amenities you could wish for. Very much enjoyed the indoor pool and using the games room. Very good base for visiting the region, made several trips to the coast, and lots of chateaux to visit. Will be looking to stay again

“Excellent stay in Quality Accomodation - Highly recommended” We enjoyed a lovely week in David and Lynda's 2 bedroom accomodation, which is superbly equipped and set in beautiful grounds. Ideal to use as a base from which to explore Normandy, the beautiful towns, villages, countryside and as we did, the D Day beaches, museums, memorials etc. Bessin is only a short drive or walk and is not busy or over commercialised, neither is the rest of Normandy which is a big bonus too! And everywhere is immaculately kept and very clean! Highly recommended to all for a very enjoyable, peaceful holiday with all the facilities you will need.
