A country of diverse terrains, the landscapes of Nepal range from green paddy terraces to barren desert, and dense rainforest to marshy grassland. Mount Everest, the highest mountain in the Himalayas, is in Nepal, and it is unsurprising that this country traditionally attracts those with a taste for adventure. The country has more to offer than trekking, however. Kathmandu, the serene capital city, is rich with culture, with a multitude of temples and pagodas giving magnificent views and fascinating historical insight.

View Tower Homestay
Wonderful holiday with a friendly family
The house is beautiful with its resemblanes to Newar architecture. Family members are very nice and helfpul. The food we ate were local products. The rooms are very nice, decorated and well ventilated. Village people are very friendly. We could see whole Kathmandu valley from the top of the view tower.
Ravi also took us to hiking of the nearby attractive villages and we saw many things, different to our culture. I highly recommend to this holiday home, so that you can even go
to cultural tours and trekkings.
We would definately come back again to see more things with him in future. …
Best Authentic, comfortable and fun stay in Kathmandu
Run by the Pokeral Family and excelelnt location in Kathmandu on a cliff over looking the farming lands in the flood plain of one of Kathmandus rivers. We were watching Eagles circling and the Planes landing at Kathmandu International.
Great people excellent local and European feed, it is your choice but the Local Tea and curries were amazing. The rooms were clean and comfortable with Hot water and teh proximity is good for local shops. The hotel is not in the city center which is a huge advantage and it is also accessable to airport so from pick up you are at the hotel in 15mins. Hotels in the city centre can take over an hour!.
We are back there again in 2013 when we climb ABC with our teenage kids. They are one pushing us for trekking in Nepal! …
