Vietnam holidays

Utterly intoxicating, Vietnam is one of the most breathtaking places you could ever visit. Famous for its astounding beaches, tranquil rivers and vibrant cities, this exceptional country is one to add to your bucket list, and with a variety of Vietnam holiday rentals to choose on Holiday Lettings, you’ll be spoilt for choice.

About Vietnam

Vietnam is rich in heritage. Situated on the South China Sea, its history is represented in many popular cities.

The country’s iconic leader, Ho Chi Minh, is honoured via an extensive marble mausoleum in the capital of Hanoi, while other famous landmarks can be seen in Ho Chi Minh city.

The best time to visit the country depends on which area you’re travelling to. But no matter when you travel to Vietnam, tourists are highly welcomed and you couldn’t ask for a more hospitable destination.

The erratic climate brings varying weather conditions throughout the year. April, May and June are unpredictable due to the changing spring to summer season. If you want to soak up some sun in Northern Vietnam, October is warm. However, very hot temperatures can occur during the year so remember to pack some light clothing.

What to do

Adventure awaits with many incredible excursions waiting for you to enjoy. The Hang Son Doong is the largest cave in the world, and you’ll find it in Phong Nha-ke Bang National Park.

You also need to set your sights on the stunning Japanese covered bridge in Hoi An – a beautiful 1590s construction that links the Japanese community to China.

If you’re searching for a little rest and relaxation, Lan Ha Bay is an exquisite choice. With white sands and crystal blue waters, this serene spot tends to be less popular than other beaches, so is ideal if you want some peace and quiet.

Vietnam is known for its fine cuisine. Grab a bite to eat at The Refinery Saigon, one of the most popular eateries in Ho Chi Minh. You’ll also find delicious food and local treats at Nha Hang Ngon as you’re greeted by romantic fairy lights, a lily pond and greenery.

Top Vietnam travel tips

There are three main airports in Vietnam, so it’s likely that you’ll arrive at either Noi Bai, Tan Son Nhat or Da naang International Airports. Grabbing a taxi or bus to your hotel makes your journey much easier.

Whether you want to escape to a local beach, take photographs of the impressive scenery or see what nature has to offer, Vietnam boasts remarkable attractions that you’ll only find in this part of the world.

Take a trip here and you’ll treasure it forever. And with Holiday Lettings's reasonable Vietnam rentals, you'll definightly have a holiday you'll never forget!

HAPIER VILLA
I had a fantastic experience.

I have stayed at a lot of privately owned villas and have to say Hapier Villa easily rates right up there with one of the best. The staff were very friendly and attentive and all the facilities, furnishings etc. were more than anyone would expect or need on holiday. Thank you Pierre to you and your staff for an unforgettable time.see more
Stay Villas - the private beachfront pool villas at Ganh Do Phu Yen
12 Days in Paradise

The easiest way to describe this property is PARADISE. It is located right on the beautiful beach, but also benefits from a good size private pool. The house has everything you can think of right there. It is spacious, very well decorated, comfortable, modern and simply great. The village has a local market 10 minutes away from the house and you can buy all fresh local fruit, fish and other foods. It is simply delicious. The owners of the house live next door and therefore they are available to help out with various things, such as shopping. We took the train to Tuy Hoa from Ho Chi Minh and we do not recommend it. It was a very long journey and although the views were lovely, the train was extremely dirty. We took the flight back and it cost us similar money, around £19 pp. We got the flights with Viet Jet Air from Tuy Hoa and the flights were lovely, on time. This is defiantly the best way of getting to the house. The owners picked us up and took us to the airport and although it wasn't free, it wasn't expensive either - in comparison to a taxi for example. We recommend renting a scooter while you are there from the owners - they have two very nice scooters - it cost less than £4 a day and you can explore all the local landscapes and beautiful places. We especially recommend going to Ghan Da Dia. We found the locals to be extremely friendly and although they don't speak much English, they always go out of their way to make you feel welcome. There is a nice bar/restaurant located to the right of the house and a short walk on the beach to the left too, both worth a visit for a cafe sua da - must try when in Vietnam. We enjoyed the local beer. You can buy a crate of 24 for around £4 and they even deliver it for you on a scooter! In terms of extra costs to be aware of, you need to prepare around £4 a day for electricity, so around £27 per week, it is quite expensive. We did use air conditions in three bedrooms all night. Final cleaning also will cost you around £35, but this meant we did not clean the house throughout during our stay. We recommend this house for anyone, it is beautiful, spacious and we thank Sara and Tony for our amazing stay.see more
Hanoi Old Quarter Homestay - Right in Hanoi Old Quarter
Hanoi Adventure

This homestay is run very professional. We had zero problems. Airport pick up, arrangement of tours all went without a hitch. This is a family run place and from the moment you walk through the doors to departure you feel it. 11 out of 10 are my marks. Some places back home in the hospitality business back home should come and see how it's done.see more

COUNTRY HOUSE - HOME STAY TAM COC
True Vietnam experience!

We travelled by train from Hanoi to Ninh Binh and took a taxi to Tam Coc. The owner picked us up from the town centre. We stayed for one night at this beautiful home stay. What a great hospitality! The beds are good, the dinner (book seperately) was fantastic. We rented the bicycles and visited the caves for a boat ride. Will remember our stay as the highlight of our trip to Vietnam.see more
Cozy 1 BR Apartment @ Saigon River
HCMC Vietnam, Icon 56

We went to Vietnam for 3 weeks to visit our son who lives there. We stayed at Icon 56 just outside District 1. Icon 56 is a very nice place to stay, very friendly, very clean. It has a gym and a roof top pool, only visited the pool once because it's a no food, no drinking and a no smoking area, so it wasn't for us. Vietnam was fantastic, will try and get there again sometime. Lehome who rented the apt to us were very helpful and thoughtful.see more
