“It was the perfect place to unwind, relax and enjoy the stunning” I stayed here for a week with my husband and our children. Despite having 4 young boys, we like to stay somewhere that offers a really nice standard of accommodation ... and that's exactly what we got! The bedrooms, beds and bedding were extremely comfortable and very elegant. The kitchen was well equipped. The bathroom was somewhat limiting with just a shower but it was absolutely clean and was nicely designed (it was like a wet room) The kitchen was smart looking and well equipped. We loved having all the British TV stations... a real treat. The communal pool was very attractive and well maintained. The owner and his family were most welcoming and helpful. My only criticism was with the charcoal BBQ. Maybe a communal gas BBQ might be a consideration for the future. We'd love to return to the chateau and to the area.

“Great place to stay! Highly recommended!” My wife, 9 y.o. daughter and I stayed in the Mutley Gite (June of 2012) and were very impressed with the facilities, the surroundings, and the friendly reception and service we got from Will and Karen. The gite was immaculate, very well furnished, and very comfortable--it was like being home as soon as we walked in the door. When I ordered a hamper for our arrival, Will offered to pick up other grocery items we may need, so I sent him a list of items, which were all waiting for us on arrival--and will got good value for our Euro! On one of our early days, which was also rainy, we stayed in most of the day to catch up on rest(5 hour time difference for us), and later in the day, Will and his daughter checked in on us to make sure we were okay, and brought over some board games to make sure we had something to do. The reception and service during our stay was warm and friendly, but unobtrusive. As another reviewer mentioned, we felt well looked after, but left to our own devices. Anything we needed was quickly responded to, although there wasn't a whole lot needed that wasn't already in the gite. We used the pool, which was very nice and clean, just about every day. As there were no other renters during our stay, we had it all to ourselves. The surroundings are very nice, and peaceful. A short 20 minutes from the outskirts of Toulouse, and about 45 minutes from Carcassonne, which is a great place to spend the day. We visited the market in Revel (about 20 mins away), which was great. We also took short jaunts to various small villages/towns in the surroundings, just to walk around and take in the sights. All in all, a great place to stay, and very friendly and professional hosts! Kudos! Job well done. Sam
