“Unforgettable experience for my family” Great hospitality! Very well-designed village... Very nice personal, fantastic location. Big rooms with excellent view! The house was really nice and comfortable. George's uncle was there to greet us and he was really helpful for everything! We had wonderful 7 days there! Gouves is a perfect choice for families that travel with their children. The location is perfect to visit beaches and nature! The sea water is clear. Not overcrowded even in high season. The outside barbeque and the kitchen were great and the food we made there was excellent. George's uncle also gave us some olive oil to cook and raki to drink! All our family loved this holiday. The owner of the house, Giorgos was marvelous. He organized everything for us very fine. It was one of the best holidays of our family.

“Exceptional 5* Property” Where do I start, Yiannis & Eva can only be described as the BEST HOLIDAY HOME OWNERS EVER!!! Our Family were met at the airport and taken to the villa, where we received home cooked food and plenty of other food items and drink to get our holiday started. The Villa is beautiful and to a high quality, it is safe & secure,it has a beautiful pool & garden and it's in such a great location to go off and explore the rest of the island. The Villa is exactly as described on line, everything about it was absolutely brilliant!! We met their lovely family who were at hand should we have needed them, Yiannis was also at hand to help with anything from hiring a car, booking taxi's, recommending bars & restaurants, he is just so helpful. Would highly recommend this villa to anyone, guaranteed you will have the best holiday ever!!! For those worried about the crisis in Greece - NO NEED TO WORRY, we were there when the referendum was on & spoke to many Greeks about the situation and clearly the Media have reported the crisis badly for tourists, it's absolutely fine and will not affect your holiday whatsoever. Take Euro's, just don't rely on your card too much as not everywhere takes cards but you can use it in some bars, shops and restaurants & certainly some of the ATM's! Yiannis and Eva thank you so much, we will definitely return!!! Oh and for anyone reading my review check out Yiannis' other property to rent on Homeaway in Chania, it's also fabulous!!
