“Tropical Paradise!” My husband and I had the opportunity to stay at Rumah Tamu for just one night, but it was hands down the best place we have ever stayed in Indonesia. My husband and I have had numerous trips to Indonesia and Bali, and we couldn't stop raving about how gorgeous and relaxing this villa was! It felt like we were on our honeymoon again! As you come through the front gate and enter the gardens, it feels as though you have walked right into a traditional Balinese painting. There are so many wonderful things that catch your eye, whether it is the garden that surrounds the dining area and flows into the back drop of rice paddies, or the inviting swimming pool adjacent to our traditional Balinese style room. Beyond this, Tamarra and Paul have outstanding taste in decorations and mixing unique art pieces with modern conveniences. Our room, had a vaulted "thatched hut" roof, with a gorgeous canopy bed and bamboo furniture. Tons of natural light displayed the beautiful batik wall hangings and art. And from the sliding glass doors of the bedroom you could just slip right into your own private pool. Just as luxurious was the bathroom, with a wonderful "rain fall" inspired shower and gorgeous stone sink and bathtub. In the common space just outside the bedrooms is a wonderful outdoor lounge area with a kitchen, desk, and living room set overlooking the gardens. Just being here makes one feel more creative! Tamarra and Paul were so kind and such wonderful hosts! They made us feel like family! We can't wait to come back to Bali again and spend some more time here!

“Great place for quiet and relaxation” Villa Sujati is big and comfortable. I enjoyed breakfast in the elevated gazebo overlooking the rice fields in the back. The house has a lot of lovely places to lounge and relax. There is a large garden and the pool gets a lot of sun. The villa is down a path about five minutes so it is somewhat isolated and peaceful. Still it is quite close to Ubud. From the main road, you can reach Ubud city in 3 minutes by car.

“Heavenly Christmas” We are a family of five from San Francisco. We had the amzazinly good fortune to spend four days at Villa Kanti this past Christmas.We arrived on Christmas eve exhausted from a long circuitous trip and thought we had landed in heaven. The villa is exquisite,Putu the house manager and his staff are wonderful--courteous and attentive, and the food is delicious.We often talk about our stay and fantasize that we are back lying by that spectacular pool.
