“A Slice of Old Ireland” Native to Ireland, I returned home for an express visit to see my parents. The family home is no more and so I needed a place to stay. I chose Bertie’s Cottage as it is in close proximity to parents and sisters - I also recognized it as being perfectly positioned to the Burren and Galway. A great springboard for touring. Brought a friend from the US who had never been to Ireland - the cottage was a double dose of charm for her. Michael Coen is a terrific host and maintains the cottage in top shape. He was very responsive to any lottle enquiry we had. Beds are comfy and home is very spacious. I recommend highly!

“Wonderful apartment with sea view” The apartment was well equipped and could be easyly reached by Bus 401 within 20-25 minutes from either the coach and the train station. The owner waited for us and gave us a short introduction how to handle it all. So we were able to enjoy our stay. The Apartment was close to the waterfront and you could take a very nice view out of the living room windows and from the balcony. If I ever return to Galway I would ask for the availability of this apartement for sure!

“What a Wonderful Experience!” We had a lovely stay at Cuach Cottage. It's a warm and comfortable place in a beautiful location, convenient to Clifden and Connemara. The Youngs did a wonderful job in renovating the cottage and adding modern conveniences while maintaining its 19th century charm. It truly felt like home, and we can't wait to come back.

“Home from home” We had a very relaxing stay at kitty's cottage, Kathleen is a very welcoming host, the cottage is very comfortable, Oughterard is a very friendly village, all in all an excellent base to explore Galway & Connemara I can't recommend this place highly enough, I would go back again in a heartbeat.☆☆☆☆☆
