Lovely apartment in the perfect location

We have used some of the owners apartments previously and have always been pleased with them. A ground floor apartment with perfect access for your sunbeds and the pool. Great because you can pop in and out of your apartment with ease. TRG was very quiet. No rush for sunbeds ever. Apartment furniture is slightly dated but everything worked and it was spotlessly clean. WIFI was great. Aircon worked well. Strong hot shower. even had pads for the sunbeds and a parasol. Beautiful view, perfect location, cheap and basic

we have just got back from a weeks stay here renting through a private rental. the room on the 11th floor is easily accessed from the 2 lifts or the stairs if you are fit. the room its self is an open plan living room kitchen, a separate bedroom and a separate bathroom. with a balcony looking out to the sea and Los Cristianos the apartment itself is basic but does the job if you just want somewhere to put your head down and have a good sleep. the living room has beautiful black tiled flooring and a nice red leather sofa. with the kitchen having a little breakfast bar with two bar stools to eat your meals from. the kitchen is in need of a little TLC as it is looking very old and tired. you have all you need 4 rings and a microwave and a fridge but they have all seen better days, but do the job. the bedroom has a lovely big bed and ample storage space with a big sliding door cupboard but unfortunately there are no doors on it, which if they were put on would make the bedroom look a lot more clean and tidy. The bathroom has a bath and a shower working ok but again look very dated and could do with a good clean before people arrive. with just a few upgrades this apartment would be a brilliant rental instead of a good cheap rental. that may reflect in the price they charge. you have a nice flat screen TV in the living room but no English channels or none that I could find. but you don't really come to Tenerife to watch TV. the apartment block itself is 50 metres from all the bars and clubs in Las Americas and Veronicas strip. so is ideal for the more younger visitor, the pool area is very big and clean and maintained but I am not sure who is responsible for the sun lounger beds as they are all broken and ripped and missing parts to keep the back part up. so this maybe something the complex needs to look at and invest in as it is the only thing that lets the pool area down. the surrounding areas of the apartment blocks is very well maintained. there is lots of restaurants and supermarkets, take away restaurants within 50-100 metres of this apartment. the beach is also 50-100 metres away but is all stones and very small but if you go 400 metres more to the left or right you have very nice beaches to use, sun loungers there are 6 euros a day, a taxi to the complex is around 25 euros or you can get a bus to the bus depot for 3.70 euros. so all in all this apartment is an ideal place to stay if you like to party and be close to all the action, with a little updating this apartment would of got 5 star but due to a bit TLC through out the apartment and the complex area it gets a Very good from us. … see more

Los Cardones Apartments

My wife and I stayed at the property for eight nights during February 2013, and found the property to be ideal for our requirements. The property is less than five minutes walk to the centre of Las Americas, though very quiet at all times of day and night, even around the pool. The property is clean and well maintained; though a few English channels on the T.V. and not just the B.B.C. World News would be a benefit. The balcony is perfect and literally is in full sun all day, though the view from the balcony over a disused site is not perfect but tolerable. We arranged for Rosendo to collect us at the airport, and take us to the property at an additional cost of 30 Euros (though taxis are slightly cheaper at about 25 Euros). However you can get a bus outside the airport No 450 at a cost of about 3 Euros which will drop you off at the Optimist Apartments about 5 Minutes walk from the Los Cardones Apartments. There was a slight problem with the safe as it appeared that the battery was flat, however Rosendo quickly returned with an override key which we used for the rest of our stay. As stated previously the property was ideal for our requirements, and we would definitely use it again. … see more

what a view

these two blocks seem to have really bad reviews but we found them fine. this apartment is spotlessly clean, well equipped and very modern. its on the 11th floor so you need a head for heights but the view is fantastic. the pool area is ok, clean, and the bar is good for snacks etc. pete and cath are lovely. you have to pay 1 euro for the sunbeds which have seen better days but there are always plenty of them! I cant fault the apartment and the blocks seem secure enough. you have to walk past linekars and those bars to get home but its ok, we are nearly 50 and everyone was friendly to us. would say to ignore other bad reviews regarding these apartments, although this is a private rental so may be much better than others. also the noise wasn't a problem being so high. l … see more
