“Great Villa - Great Location” Just returned from a great 4 week stay at Casa Innismore, Sean [the owner] made the whole booking process so easy and kept in touch, making sure all went to plan. We were met by Gary who showed us around and helped with any minor issues we had. The Villa was like home from home, the double bed really comfy and the "Air Con" a real bonus.
The local "Spar" shop is only a couple of minutes away and stocks everything you need. It's just a short stroll into town where plenty of bars and restaurants can be found, which cater for all tastes.
The sea front is close by and you can walk for miles, the Marina in one direction [local market on a Wednesday & Saturday] and the lighthouse in the other. A walk up the local volcano gives great views over Playa Blanca.
We are already looking to book again to stay at this fabulous Villa.
Thanks for a great holiday - Dave & Gill
“Excellent Villa!” 2nd year in a row here. Once again everything was perfect. Villa is approx 10 mins by car/taxi from airport. You can literally be in the pool within an hour of landing. Taxi from airport cheap and there is a local bus service available too.
Check in very easy. Agents live in next property. Checked in very quickly but given tour round to show you how to work everything etc. There is also a guide left with instructions for tv, cooker as well as local info - very helpful
Villa is well equipped, kitchen has everything you need and rooms are all clean and tidy, Great showers with plenty hotwater,
Washing maching, iron, microwave, dvd player, tv and even plenty books and dvds for your use.
Lovely terraces for sitting out sunbathing and enjoying lunch in peace and quiet. Great pool facilities and turkish bath sauna, jacuzzi and gym for your use throughout your stay. Toilets and showeres also available at the pool/spa area.
Property is about 10 minutes stroll down hill to the town centre and beach areas. Although there is bars and shops half way down. The market also comes here on Saturdays.
The taxi fare from town is approx 2.15 euros daytime and 2.8 euros at night. 6 seater taxis readily available for same price.
Plenty of bars and restaurants for all tastes in town. We thought it was very reasonable for beers and food.
If you want to travel further afield there is a great bus service on the island to allow you to visit Corralejo and Puerto del Rosario. Bus stop at bottom of the hill (approx 5 mins walk) and fares very cheap.
This makes water park and Safari Park great accesible days out.
We travelled with 4 teenage boys, who were kept entertained on beaches etc and as the town is reasonablly quiet they were able to get some freedom on beaches/ playing pool at night etc
Would recommend both the island and in particular this property to anyone. And we will certainly be back for our third visit next year
“fantastic” the villa was huge and very clean and tidy , the outdoor space is a massive plus , you would not get this type of space in many rentals in corralejo.
it has a beautiful pool that is kept very clean and has a great barbeque. there is plenty bathrooms and an out door laundry room that is a bonus.
the villa has a great location and is only a lazy 5 mins from centre.
all in all this was a great find !
“Fabulous villa, excellent value for money” We stayed at Casa de Esperanza for a week in January. It was our first time in Lanzarote after several trips to Tenerife so we were hoping that a change wasn't a mistake - it wasn't! Booking was very straightforward and before we left the UK we received plenty of helpful information about getting to the villa including helpful tips for taxi drivers. Our arrival although quite late was very easy. If you have young kids and are going arrive late the welcome pack is definitely a good idea.
The villa is fantastic. It was beautifully clean and a lot larger than we had envisaged. The kitchen is well equipped and the bedrooms all furnished to a very high standard - loved the soft furnishings. The master suite is particularly good for those with older/grown up kids as you have the option of shutting the door and maintaining privacy for both parties. The wet room shower is brilliant and great for anyone with limited mobility. Kids will love it - even soap-dodging teenagers.
The TV is huge with a good range of channels - no BBC or ITV channels so sky plus the soaps before you go. There is also the novelty of an open air utility room where clothes dry happily away from the strong breezes that the island gets. The pool was very clean and was well maintained throughout our stay. It is the warmest pool I have come across - just like getting into the bath.
The villa is situated in a very quiet part of town which was just what we were after as our days of partying till the wee hours are well and truly over. It is a short walk (downhill) to the shops, bars and restaurants. If you have mobility problems you may want to take a taxi if you want to get all the way down to (or come back from) the bars round the marina. The taxis are plentiful and cheap - we saw many senior visitors take this option although my dodgy knees held out with the walk every day. The nearby SuperDino supermarket was well stocked and reasonably priced whether you want to go native or stick with Brit favourites. All the restaurants we visited were great value for money - our favourite was El Burro which does great Tex Mex and the staff were lovely.
Louise looked after us brilliantly and was really helpful with our late departure including booking a taxi to take us to the airport.
We had a wonderful relaxing holiday here and would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for the same in a lovely villa. It is great value for money and we have our deposit back before the tan has faded. I have recommended it to a number of friends and will continue to do so.
“Great Villa, Great Weather...” Just returned from this villa, Everything was fine with the villa and its contents, Nice clean condition on arrival, Fantastic airport taxi arranged by Janet, Gary meet us at the villa ontime and explained everything very well to aid our stay.
Would like to thanks Janet for great communication prior to our departure. Only one small gripe would be that the pool was a little cold, That said it was boxing day though..
“Quite simply the best villa we have ever stayed in!” When we arrived at Casa Mila we could not believe our luck! Both the interior and exterior are stunning, with everything you could wish for provided.
The villa overlooks the sea, with a beautiful heated pool and hot tub. There was nothing better than playing in the pool or sitting in the hot tub, listening to the sounds of the sea literally metres away !
With teenagers ,a grown up daughter ,myself and husband ,I can honestly say there was something to suit everyone at Casa Mila. Plenty of comfy patio furniture, the pool, hot tub, stylish well equiped interior, internet access,Sky TV and the playstation!!
The village is quiet with several restaurants(only open at lunch time during our stay) ,however 2 minutes drive or approx 15min walk is a larger village, where we ate out on several evenings.
There are lovely walks along the sea front ,with 'sea pools' to swim in ,just a few minutes walk from the villa.
Car hire is essential and whilst we did explore Lanzarote,I can honestly say we did not find anywhere else as beautiful as Casa Mila, for a holiday. We will be returning as soon as possible!
“Fantastic stay, highly recommend” Recently returned from a weeks stay at the villa, over New Year. The villa was fantastic, in our favourite location and very clean, tidy and had everything we needed.
The directions from the airport were good, although we've been to Playa Blanca before so knew where the villa was when getting into town.
The check in process worked fine even though we arrived on Boxing Day when the office was closed. The welcome pack was a lovely touch, my husband thoroughly enjoyed the bottle of red wine!
The villa itself was very comfortable, slept like a log in the comfortable bed. There were plenty of towels (provision of pool towels would be a great addition to the villa) and everything you needed in the kitchen to cook a meal.
We had an issue with the WiFi and TV on arrival, but on reporting it to the office was fixed the same day. Excellent service.
We loved the outside space and really enjoyed eating outside on the terrace during the day and lying by the pool. The pool was lovely and warm and having it all to ourselves was a real treat. The fact the pool fronts onto the road didn't bother us at all as it was well screened so no one can see you. The location more than makes up for this.
There is a Spar supermarket across the road which is very well stocked and a Super Dino supermarket 10 minutes walk away. They have a butcher's and fishmonger in this supermarket which is reasonably priced.
The restaurants, beach, shops etc are only 5 - 10 minutes walk away from the villa and it's flat so good if you have mobility issues.
Our favourite restaurants this time around were El Gallon which fronts the port car park. Doesn't look much from the outside due to the white plastic seats but the food is lovely, big portions and excellent value. We also loved the Chinese on the seafront. Think it's called Asiatico. We went to both of these restaurants twice! There are plenty of great places to eat.
We didn't venture down to Marina Rubicon this time at night but there are also lots of choices there for a meal. Tend to be more expensive though.
We would love to return to Casa Palmers again and would highly recommend.
“Tenerife villa Carolina 2018 the Quinn/kay family” We arrived at our villa on sat 15th September , after a stressful journey as one of our cases went missing and didn’t arrive at Tenerife airport we got taxi to the villa and were greeted there by two members of the cleaning company who were both fantastic as we arrived before check in time they let us get a quick change and leave our cases while we headed out and they finished what they were doing for us getting back . We walked down to the shops and resteraunts but was very tiring could not do that walk again very steep hills so we used taxi which number was provided for us for the rest of our holiday . When we got back to the villa we were blown away it is absolutely beautiful , every need is catered for . We had a box of biscuits , pint of milk , water and two bottles of cava complimentary of the villa also loads more extras (tea , coffee , sugar ) and every thing u could possibly need is there for your stay . My kids loved the pool , the views are breath taking , wn suites in every bedroom means no waiting around for others using the bathroom and balcony’s attaches to each room means every one has there own space we loved our stay and will most definitely be booking again but for longer next time . One is just not long enough I didn’t want to go home thank you so much for making our holiday so fantastic
“Fabulous villa” We stayed in this villa for a week in November, myself , husband and family to celebrate my husbands 50th birthday. We could not have celebrated it in a nicer villa! It was plenty big enough for 6 of us although most of our time was spent outside int the pool and garden area as the weather was beautiful all week.
The pool and hot tub was enjoyed by all of us and my sons loved the fact that they had the pool table there as well. The view from the villa is beautiful and although is right on the golf course it still was very private.
The car is a great bonus, we only used for trips to the supermarket but was great not having to carry shopping back. When going out for meals etc. As the weather was so nice we walked into town and tended to get a taxi back.
It is a good half hour or so leisurely walk but we would go along the beach front so was a lovely walk to do.
The owner was really helpful from the minute we booked and I would not hesitate to book again.
“Fantastic, clean, luxurious accomodation.” This is the second time I have stayed in this villa with my friends, on both occasions we found the property to be very clean and tidy it's location is ideal for night life and within walking distance to the beach and local shopping centres, there are plenty of taxi ranks near the villa too aswell as good restaurants etc.
On my recent holiday (oct 2012) myself and one of my friends in the group had our passports stolen whilst we were out in a shopping centre. this was potentially a disasterous situation but thanks to the owner of the villa it wasn't. He looked after us!
Thanks to Gary everything was taken care of, he drove us to the British consulate to get our emergency passports, he took us to the police station to get a report for our insurance and he got one of his staff to speak on our behalf. he let us stay on at the villa too as we had no accomodation.
I found it hard to believe anyone could be this helpful but he was . . . he was amazing!
Anyone who is thinking of staying at this villa I would say book it! it's a great place to stay, its got everything you need and it's very comfortable but above all I have to say we were so lucky to have helpful and pleasant staff looking after us, our holiday could of turned out to be a nightmare but thanks to Gary and he's staff the whole of it was fantastic!
CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK!!!
“Lovely villa, in great location.” A lovely villa, very well equipped, in a peaceful and quiet location with wonderful views over the coast.
There is plenty of space both inside the villa and in the outdoor garden and pool areas surrounding it.
We enjoyed a very pleasant and relaxing week in February 18, but it was cooler than it normally is in Tenerife at this time of year and that created an issue for us in keeping warm in the villa. We were kindly provided with a propane space heater, which was certainly efficient but it was awkward and bulky to move around between rooms. A few electric fan heaters would be more user-friendly.
We also noticed that towel rails had been removed from both of the bathrooms. The fittings were still there and photos on the website show the rails installed. The bathrooms were particularly cold in the mornings and heated towel rails would definitely have helped.
The owner/manager has asked for feedback on any maintenance issues and we noted that light bulbs were out in a few places. The outside fountain also kept running out of water, presumably because there is a leak somewhere. We added water to avoid damage to the pump as it ran dry but it’s obviously something that needs some attention.
Overall a lovely villa which we are very happy to recommend to other holidaymakers.
“Fabulous spacious clean villa in excellent location would go back again!” The villa is situated in a fabulous location, walking distance to shops, supermarkets & beaches. No real need to have a car unless you want to travel around the island. Our boys thoroughly enjoyed playing in the pool which was heated and when it was too hot there were 2 large TVs plus a Wii to keep them entertained. Lovely villa, lots of bedrooms and bathrooms, could easily stay with another family and we intend to return next year!!
“This villa has it all.” We stayed here over Christmas and new year and had a great time. The villa has everything you need it was home from home,in a good location close to the marina ,restaurant's,bars and supermarkets.Would recommend.
“A Happy Xmas!” Villa has been appointed and maintained to the highest standard, very comfortable, modern and clean. Pool was excellent, a little cool for some but we did enjoy swimming on Christmas Day! Kitchen very good, high-quality appliances and fixtures.
The town and seafront is a good long walk and steep in places, but taxis available in town for the return trip, and at reasonably prices. Your fitness will improve, I guarantee it, but would not recommend this property or resort to anyone with mobility issues or young children
Would definitely return!
“5 star” Just back from a 10 day stay at Casa del Rio. Hard to put into words how beautiful the Villa is spotless and very well looked after. My wife loved the hot - tub and T.V channels and well every thing. We have stayed at various Villas Casa del Rio is easily the best. Thanks Katy and a special mention to Betty who was on hand in resort if needed we will be back
“Fab Time At Villa Grace” Having been to this fabulous Villa in December 2015, we returned and wasn’t disappointed as it is still maintained to a high standard. The Garden has now established and looks lovely. Added extras to the last time we visited was air conditioning in all the bedrooms, which was brilliant when getting ready to go out for the evening and a new tv smart box which meant I could catch up and even watch a couple of premier League matches plus the big boxing fight.
The holiday was so relaxing and very peaceful when you are lying out soaking up the sun. This Villa is real home from home.
Hire car was good to have so we could visit the north of the island but you can get about quite easily within Playa Blanca without it by using taxi (€5esch way), bus or walking. There are some great restaurants only 5muns walking distance from the Villa and all I would recommend to visit.
The very good friends we went with helped to make this a brilliant holiday and we really didn’t want to come home because of this we have already booked to go back next year and are counting do the days until we return.
“This is a very special holiday house with a fantastic atmosphere and marvellous view of the ocean.” The house is built in Caesar Manrique style with an outdoor swimming pool and a charming barbeque area. Waking up in the morning in the master bedroom viewing the palm trees and Tinasoria - the mountain top - give you a fantastic start of the day.... We even climbed the mountain once which gave a marvellous view of the southern tip of the island and all the way to Fuerteventura. The house with its facilities is ideal for 3 - 4 couples wanting to enjoy and explore Lanzarote. It is located centrally on the island - within reach of all the nice places on Lanzarote in less than 30 minutes.... We will come back !
“Fantastic!” The villa was absolutely perfect! So clean and contained all the essentials you need for you holiday and more. The owners are the kindest people we've met, really going the extra mile for their customers. Amazing hospitality and they really did make our holiday one to remember! :)
“Superb villa” This was the perfect villa for us and our 3 young grandchildren. Loads of room, excellent pool area and very secure.
The owner, Patrick organised everything from brilliant welcome grocery supplies to allowing us a late check out.
We want to book for next summer but fully booked already - Just shows how good it is.
A little bit out of town but a driving is great on Lanzarote and essential to visit the quaint out of the way places. Orzola is our favourite beach. Perfect for kids and snorkelling.
Just a brilliant time had by all. Kids not bored for one minute.
“Wow! A wonderful opportunity to relax in luxury.” Five of us (3 adults, 2 children) stayed in this villa for 8 days and had our best European holiday ever! It really is a delightful villa - spacious, immaculately clean, airy and bright with the bonus of a large pool. Bev was always helpful and accommodating in email exchanges beforehand and there was plenty of information about the villa, pool and surrounding areas when we got there. We didn't explore a great deal of Lanzarote because we loved being at the villa, having the pool to ourselves and the quietness of the area - its just west of the main town, so close enough but not noisy. Our two boys (and we) were constantly in and out of the pool, catching up on the Olympics on the large flat screen TV with all the channels you could possibly want, relaxing on loungers and enjoying the sunshine and blue sky. The villa is furnished tastefully and is incredibly well equipped, even down to the Dolce Gusto coffee machine! Nothing seemed to be done 'on the cheap' and the beds were some of the most comfortable we've ever slept in. There are more than enough loungers/seats outside to relax on. The villa is secure and safe. We enjoyed the short walks to the coast from our front door, and sampled some lovely local restaurants. We didn't hire bikes this time, but it would be a lovely way to see the area and cycle by the sea. All in all, I cannot say enough good things about this villa, we would love to visit again!
