“Great villa with lovely pool but you definately need a car” Arrived and the villa wasn't quite ready but Shelley from the property management company let us stay and unpack whilst she finished off cleaning etc and even got her partner Scott to take us to the nearest supermarket for some much needed supplies. We thought from the villa info. we would be able to walk to a supermarket or even Lindos and Pefkos when we were feeling energetic but this is not possible. We did not hire a car but I would say you would definately need to unless you are prepared to get taxis everywhere even to pick up a newspaper. It was easy enough to get taxis, they arrived within 10 mins from when you phoned them but the price did vary depending on the driver! It was roughly 6-10 euros to either village and to the hyper market we were charged 15 euros one day just to get back but another driver charged us 15 euros for the return trip including waiting time! We had to phone Scott virtually everyday as there were problems with some of the air con units and the pool light and because it was so hot you really did need the bedroom air con during the night to sleep but Scott came out no problem when you called and got most of the problems fixed. The villa itself has everything you need but it is a little smaller than the pictures indicate and some of the furnishings are a little dated but not enough to detract from your holiday. We stayed for one week only and although the literature stated we would have a linen change we didnt but there is a washing machine if you get desperate! We would recommend the Enigma restaurant in Pefkos and definately find the butchers in Lindos as the steaks we got to BBQ were delicious! Overall we had a wonderful holiday and would return to this villa.

“Breathtaking” From our initial enquiry to the end of our holiday and beyond, we were met with warmth, helpfulness, and generosity. Nothing was too much trouble for Joyce the House Manager who made us feel very welcome. We stayed on a B&B basis. Breakfast was fruit, cereals, toast, juice. The Tower House took our breath away! It was way beyond our expectations. Originally built as a Christian Retreat an atmosphere of peace and love was very evident.Everywhere was scrupulously clean and each room very attractively decorated in keeping with a chosen quality. Our room was named JOY and so everything in the room reflected Joy. The rooms were spacious, the views from the balcony splendid and a larger terrace off the dining room with swing hammock provided extensive panoramic views . The roof terrace with entrance to the round tower provided a place for quiet contemplation. Wifi could be a bit temperamental but mainly it worked from the principlal . However there are several intenet cafes in Kefalos so logging on was not a problem. From The Tower House a path winds it's way down to the beach. This may be a little steep for the less active but we enjoyed the walk which seemed shorter the more we walked it! The gardens would not be suitable for the disabled but with a ground level large terrace this need not be a problem. A car is essential. Short drive to some superb serviced beaches. Kefalos is pretty with a good selection of places to eat. It is not too noisy, but friendly and fairly quiet.

“Peaceful, perfect, relaxing, beautiful and spacious.” From the second we arrived, we knew we were in for a good time. The Villa quite frankly took our breath away. Stelios was the perfect host and even though we arrived a little late, took his time to give us the tour and the low down, and agreed to meet us to assist in our car hire and first (and second) food shop. He is as calm and cool as his Villa! The Villa is clean and bright and ultra cool inside if you need a break from the sun and that goes for the family suite building attached too. The kitchen is well equipped and the barbecue and dining area outside were put to very good use. The pool is a good size and the patio surrounding is spacious and well equipped for relaxing. The gardens are lush and the staff are a real asset too, very friendly, genuine individuals. Advice: Get up early and don't waste a minute, the sunrise over the pool and palm trees is spectacular. If you like a bit of privacy on your holiday, but want to be close enough to dip into the local swing of things this is for you. Seriously highly recommended.
