“Superb Property, and perfect for all ages” We visited this property in April in a large, mixed ages, family group.this Villa is fantastic, and perfect for all, regardless of age and interests. We are retired and often visit in the Spring, the weather is lovely and perfect for swimming in the beautiful heated pool, cycling, walking and visiting the many interesting villages,.Also for wine tasting expeditions!We have stayed in this Villa, and also La Grange several times over the years as we love this area and the Villas are so superbly equipped that it is not necessary to look elsewhere! There are plenty of indoors and outdoors spaces for large family groups to find a quiet corner to chill, read, etc.The pool and pool terraces are outstanding. Lots of restaurants to try, worthy of mention, Madame Moutiers,Tour des Vents, Ma Maison,Chateau de Vigiers, and, definitely for families, The Pizzeria in Eymet Square. Markets somewhere every day!Eymet on Thursdays excellent. All in all, an excellent place for a holiday.

“Great place for a family holiday!” We have just returned from a week long stay at the house and had a wonderful time. There were 18 of us spanning all ages including three children under 2. The house is comfortable, very tastefully decorated, and well set up to accomodate large groups with areas to disappear in but large enough common areas to fit everyone as well. As the house is new to the rental market there are still some kinks that the owners need to work out but they are minor and the owners were very open to recommendations and I would expect they will be continuously improving the house. The grounds of the house are extensive and we spent the majority of our time hanging out in the yard or having our meals on the balcony overlooking the amazing view at the front of the house. The house is in a very rural setting in Dordogne so you do need to be willing to drive longer distances to get to any larger town or spend your time in very small hamlets. Or like us you can make the most of the house and spend the majority of your time there! We have booked the house for a week next year which is testament to how much we enjoyed it. “A fabulous relaxing location with perfect hosts.” This was our 2nd stay at Le Moulin with a group of 21 of us with an age range of 5 - 75 years. Ted and Jo have struck a perfect balance of being attentive and friendly without being intrusive. To repeat a holiday can often prove to be a mistake - this certainly was not and if circumstances allow, we will be back! The location caters effortlessly for our family dynamics - ie young kids, teenagers, adults and grandparents. Enough space for privacy for everyone and we used the larger house as our "hub" for evening meals en masse. We had a couple of catered meals which were superb & saves an argument over the driving! Great location - canoeing, cycling, lake and markets all within easy reach. Would unreservedly recommend this to anyone wanting to holiday with family or friends.
