Properties on Holiday Lettings can be sorted/ranked in the following ways:
Orders properties using various data points, in particular: ratings, number of bedrooms/bathrooms, minimum number of nights, and data relating to the interest in/bookings of the property through us, including the advertiser’s rate of providing quotes to travellers who make enquiries. Other factors include price, property capacity, number of photographs, location, amenities, appearance in search results, page views, and the advertiser’s responsiveness and cancellation rate.
Price low to high / high to low
Orders properties based on either (i) the property’s minimum nightly price, if the traveller has searched without dates, or (ii) the average nightly price for the applicable week of the year, if the traveller has input dates.
Orders properties by total number of reviews attached to the listing (highest to lowest), irrespective of average score. Where there is a listing with the same number of reviews as another (or a listing with no reviews), properties are sorted according to their proximity to the searched location.
“Wonderful!” First visit to Amsterdam for a short break to celebrate my husbands 50th, I booked this apartment so all responsibilities was on me! Couldn't have been happier - It was in a perfect location, close enough to the central touristy parts to walk and spend the day. The apartment has lots of cafes and restaurants on the door step to suit all budgets & tastes with the added gem of the little court yard garden to finish the evening with a nightcap. Anne Marie was a lovely host, from first contact - confirming the booking. Advising us of the bus route and directions from the airport (I would recommend the bus, direct route, comfortable, easy and cheaper)
The room was spotlessly clean and the decor refreshingly quirky it was a great escape with everything think you need and more, so comfortable felt like we had our own little retreat in Amsterdam.
Would recommend Amsterdam & the apartment, perfect combination for a great break, hope to revisit both.
“Great location, friendly hosts” The Metropolitan in Amsterdam is conveniently located, literally within walking distance to everywhere, as well as being very comfortable, affordable. This B&B is unique and full of character--complete with the use of a wonderful outdoor courtyard stocked with some of the most sociable animals that you could ever wish to encounter. The innkeepers, Marijn and Sebastiaan are gracious and friendly hosts who make everyone feel welcome to their beautiful, laid back and international city. They also have an App that you can download through the Digital Concierge that is very helpful in finding restaurants, bars, markets and other attractions that Amsterdam has to offer. Very convenient and something that I would highly recommend that you do--unless, of course, you prefer to use the generous tourist brochures that they keep in the B&B or speak with the interesting proprietors themselves!
“Outstanding funky apartment with stunning roof terrace!” Had a fabulous stay: apartment is stunning (clean, modern, comfortable, funky), & Amsterdam is always an outstanding city to spend time. Location is great as really close to Vondelpark for a gorgeous walk into the centre or the trams are just a few minutes walk. Host Michiel is really helpful & friendly. Highly RECOMMEND.
“Stay like a local!” The apartment was great. Owned by a local artist, it is decorated with a very personal touch of his own, adding great character to it. The location is great. Very easy to get to by bus from the airport, close enough to bike to all main points in the city, but still far enough from the busiest parts of the city to remain tranquil and quiet. The apartment also features a fully loaded kitchen and great bathroom. We had an amazing time in amsterdam at the art apartment, we recommend it highly!
