“Great gite - for the vertically normal!” La Poterne next to the Mairie in the quiet village of Stigny in north Burgundy (Yonne) fulfilled all our expectations as to location and things to see & do and facilities in the gite & in the village. We had a wonderful week and Kool Karen the owner looked after us so well (she lives next door). We have absolutely no complaints - except about ourselves.....we are both tall (Im six foot four) and we are well into our sixties. I bumped my head a lot on the low doors. And She Who Must Be Obeyed (with her bad knees) found sleeping upstairs and loo downstairs a trial at nights. If we were in our 30s and reasonably sized, it would have been perfect!
