NEW FOR 2011 - Luxury " Boutique Villa" Karandjo is set in a stunning location with a fantastic PRIVATE 78m sq swimming pool & adjoining outdoor jacuzzi spa pool, in beautiful landscaped gardens which provides the ultimate unique experience of tranquillity and exclusivity.
Villa Karandjo is one of 6 privately owned detached villas set in an area of outstanding natural beauty and where luxuries are in abundance. There are various sun terraces around the swimming pool and gardens to suit the mood, of which some areas are shaded and there are 6 sunbeds to choose from.
There is also a lovely traditional Turkish seating area which provides an excellent area to sit and relax and "get away" from the sun should you so desire. There is also a large BBQ area where you can enjoy some outside dining in a quiet tranquil place and dine al fresco while overlooking the stunning countryside and surrounding mountains,
Villa Karandjo offers you a peaceful luxurious holiday and which has been beautifully furnished throughout to an extremely high standard to make your holiday even more enjoyable.
It is open plan to the ground floor with a vaulted roof over the lounge area, where there is a galleried landing above overlooking the lounge. It has air conditioning to the bedrooms and also has beautiful marble floors throughout, keeping it nice and cool. Patio doors lead from the lounge and internal dining area to the terrace outside, which provides the perfect place to sit and relax and dine al fresco and enjoy a glass of wine or a nice cold beer. This dining terrace also overlooks the pool and gardens and where you have stunning views of the open countryside and surrounding mountains.
Villa Karandjo has two luxury bedrooms, one with en-suite bathroom and one with an adjoining shower room. A spacious open plan lounge area as described above, with INTERNET Wi-fi access (free to guests), a TV, DVD and a hi-fi stereo system. There is also an internal dining area and fully equipped luxury kitchen with beautiful marble work tops to prepare your meals.

Conditions
We also have an English speaking agent who lives locally to our Villa and who can arrange airport transfers for you and also car hire. We also provide a meet and greet service with our agent, to ensure that you are not felt "isolated" on your arrival and who will also provide you with some essential local information for you, should you require.
All linen and towels are provided but not beach towels, please bring your own. For a 2 week stay you will have a bed linen and towel change mid way but not a full clean. A Full clean is available at an extra cost - please enquire when booking
If you do not fancy hiring a car and driving yourselves we can arrange a mini bus or car, with your own driver, to take you where ever you want to visit, no need to rush, just spend as much time as you want at the local beauty spots. We can also arrange minibus hire/car hire for you either for collection at the airport or delivered to the villa.
Our swimming pool and jacuzzi spa pool are maintained daily, as are our gardens to ensure your unique experience of tranquillity and exclusivity is maintained throughout your holiday.
Please note that the jacuzzi spa pool is unheated. (Heated spas are only required in the UK !!! )

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region
Fethiye is a traditional vibrant Turkish town with excellent shopping and restaurants and a beautiful harbour which is only 15 mins away from Uzumlu by car and can also be easily reached by the frequent dolmus (public taxi).
The popular resort of Olu Deniz known as the 'blue lagoon' has a fantastic beach & lagoon area which is within a 20 - 25 min drive of our Villa where you can also catch a boat ride giving you the opportunity to explore the beautiful Turquoise Coast. Hisaronu is approx 20 min drive, which also has many restaurants & bars and the traditional tourist shopping for those who like to grab a bargain or two.
Calis beach is just 15mins away by car and 5 minutes from Fethiye with lots of restaurants and can also be reached by water taxis from Fethiye Harbour.
Slightly further away are the ancient ruins and unspoilt beach of Patara (Turkeys longest beach which is 20 km in lenght) and also the natural beauty of Saklikent Gorge famous for its crystal clear river and some "fun rafting". The hill top Roman City of Cadianda is just 20mins from Villa Karandjo with some spectacular views towards Fethiye.
Its also ideally situated just 40 minutes from the recently modernised Dalaman Airport.
The Uzumlu area
Uzumlu is a traditional Turkish village set in an area of spectacular natural beauty with its mountain plateau setting which is surrounded by mountains and which is approximately 500 metres above sea level. The cool mountain breezes are particularly welcome during the warm summer months.
The village centre of Uzumlu is about 2km away from the Villa and which has retained much of its original character.
It has various local stores (where you can buy produce), a post office, restaurants, a newly opened wine house, and a local market every Friday. This relaxed village is ideal for those looking for a little peace and quiet, breathtaking scenery and the enchantment of rural life. It is also an ideal base for exploring the Turkish countryside and coast line with its beautiful beaches.

Villa Karandjo is a beautiful villa with a stunning garden and pool. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The villa is a good size, clean and well equipped with everything that you need. Having Wifi was great and a luxury rarely available. The pool and garden were by far the highlight! A lovely large pool with stunning mountain views. Uzumlu is a quiet and very pretty town with a few restaurants, bakery and a Friday market which is especially good for fresh fruit, veg and locally made yogurt and cheese. We were met by Julianna the local agent when we first arrived. She was great - a very hard working, knowledgeable and helpful agent who was invaluable. I highly recommend booking villa Karandjo from Andrew and Karen who were always quick to respond to any questions and provided a seamless and stress free start to our holiday. A 30% deposit is required to secure the booking (non refundable). Balance to be paid 8 weeks prior to arrival together with a refundable £300 security deposit (bond) . This will be refunded to you within 2 weeks after your departure, subject to the satisfactory condition in which the property is left on departure.
Short stays of less than one FULL WEEK will be considered by the owner (where a full week is unavailable to rent the Villa)......so why not spend a few days in a hotel and the rest of your holiday in the Villa (subject to availability). NB this option is only available as "in fill " periods in the availability calendar.
