About the home

Villa Botanika boasts one of the best locations in Turunc. Only a short walk to the centre but backing onto the mountains, it provides the ideal base for your holiday.

With its large air conditioned rooms and private pool you can sit and enjoy the stunning views over the Turquoise coast. There are 4 floors all with bath/shower rooms and beds for 11 - no one need sleep on a sofa! The lower floor has a large triple bedroom with en suite and an enormous games room with Table Tennis, DVD player and twin shower room ideal for children. The large open plan ground floor is beautifully laid out with access to the pool and gardens. The luxury kitchen is fully fitted with everything you may need.

The bedrooms upstairs, and in particular the master bedroom with Jacuzzi bathroom en suite, are spacious, beautifully furnished, and have large balconies and spectacular views. All rooms have air conditioning.

Outside you can laze on the terrace by the pool or if you prefer the shade you can sit in the garden under the new gazebo.

Top Floor: Very large double bedroom with built-in wardrobes (with a safe) and dressing table. Spacious en-suite bathroom with jacuzzi bath with shower attachment. Balcony with views of sea.

Middle Floor: One large double bedroom with balcony, and two twin rooms, one with a balcony. All beautifully decorated and furnished with wardrobes and dressing tables. Family bathroom with bath and shower and balcony.

Ground Floor: Large open plan lounge and dining room with marble fireplace and large windows. CD player. Fully furnished kitchen. Large patio doors to balcony and access to pool and gardens. Hallway, toilet and jacuzzi shower.

Lower Floor: Triple bedroom with wardrobe and chest of drawers. En-suite shower and toilet room. Utility room with washing machine and boiler. Huge games room with table tennis, TV and DVD, 2 settees and patio doors to garden where gazebo and barbecue is installed. Large double shower room.

All rooms have adapter plugs and coat hangers and we supply 2 hair-dryers for your use.

High chairs, cots etc available to order.

Further details outdoors:
Villa Botanika comes with its own private swimming pool and garden areas. Sun beds for all are provided and for your comfort we have a large gazebo complete with cushions in the garden along with a barbeque. There is a large sun terrace with both sunny and shady areas. Off the house there is a balcony with table and seating.

The front garden has many trees including olive, citrus, pomegranate and bougainvillea. There is a herb garden you may use.

There is a gated driveway suitable for parking one car, with plenty of room outside the property for other parking. However, a car is not necessary in Turunc.

A chargeable welcome pack can be supplied if booked in advance. Car seats, high chairs and travel cots can normally be booked in advance.

Transfers to & from Dalaman airport can be arranged.

Final cleaning is included but extra visits can be made for cleaning and laundry.

We supply bath towels and pool towels.

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region

Turunc is the most beautiful village with the perfect combination of Turkish tradition and modern amenities. Surrounded by mountains and nestling in the warm Aegean Sea it provides the perfect location for a relaxing holiday. The beach has Blue Flag status and is ideal for children.

All bars and restaurants are within walking distance. Larger resorts of Marmaris and Ichmeler can be reached by water taxis or bus but are a million miles away from the idyllic fishing village of Turunc.

The Turunc area

The small village of Turunc caters well for all ranges of holiday makers. It has the charm and appeal of a small fishing village with friendly people but also has enough activities to keep even the most active person busy. Our local agent can arrange any trip you require and is on hand to help at any time.

Should you have older teenagers who wish to night club in Marmaris they will escort them there and back and keep a watchful eye on them. We can arrange boat trips along the beautiful coast as well as diving, water sports, water park and not forgetting the fantastic Turkish Bath (Hamman)

Once you go to Tununc you will return year after year.

“Fantastic villa and location” Probably the nicest villa's within the resort. Views from all over the villa are fantastic. The villa is well equipped with the usual uk type facilities. All the rooms have air conditioning and it's decorated to a high standard. Would definitely recommend this, we have been to other villa's in the past but this has been the best. Would easily cater for 10 people without feeling pushed for space.

“Excellent accommodation, great holiday” The accommodation couldn't have been better, spacious, clean and more than accommodated our group of ten whose ages ranged from 20 months to 72 years!! The location was great for us as the views were fantastic and we liked being near the hills, away from the centre of Turunc. The resort itself was great with enough for all o us. The agents couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. Overall a fantastic holiday enjoyed by all of the group.

“Awesome!” We stayed at the Villa Botanika from the 10th of September for a week. Our party consisted of 8 adults and we all found the Villa to be very spacious and tastefully decorated. There were 3 beds that were not even used. The Villa has everything one could want for a holiday of this type. It is well situated in a quiet part of Turunc but well within walking distance of the beach and numerous bars and restaurants. The transfer from the airport was all arranged and the agent was always available should we need him. The owners had excellent communication throughout the booking procedure and I would recommend this Villa highly.

“Fantastic Villa + Beautiful Location + Lovely people = Brilliant Holiday!” This was my third visit to Villa Botanika and I can't wait to go again! The Villa is lovely. It's relatively new, and it comes with everything that we needed to have a great, hassle free holiday. It is found at the back of Turunc, well within strolling distance to the quiet, friendly highstreet area of the old village. Villa Botanika feels homely and cosy inside, despite its big size. Turunc is located far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Marmaris, but close enough to catch a cheap lift into the city whenever it's needed - travelling by water taxi was fun and provided some beautiful views along the way. I spent a night out in Marmaris too which was good fun. There were plenty of things to do in and around the area when we weren't to busy basking in the hot sun. I found it really enjoyable just to laze around the private pool all day and have a BBQ in the evening. The people of Turunc are great. They are generally kind, helpful people (and they all speak pretty good English which is handy!). I'm looking forward to staying in the villa again next year. Luke

“Great house. Very large. Nice Pool. Great town.” We're a very big family. There are two adults and 5 children, so it's vital that we get a big house. This house is huge. So big in fact that we didn't use all of the rooms in it.... more
