Villa Amarina is a charming house in stone, with Dalmatian style, perfectly integrated in a natural landscape, in a green area, it seems like it has been there forever. The decoration is warm, light and cosy, as if the proud owner had just left the keys. The terraces have been cleverly arranged to make the most of the morning and evening sunny hours, some are shaded for the hours where there is more heat, and all have splendid views of the sea and the Adriatic coast. This idyllic house was built on a landscaped park of 1000 m2 that stimulates the senses, with its pine trees, shrubs and the Mediterranean scents. The villa is located near the top of the island and offers panoramic views of the Adriatic Sea, magnificent sunsets and starry skies. The villa has four bedrooms for adults, one is en suite, and a "sailor's room" for six children or teenagers so they can be somewhat independent from their parents. Five bathrooms serve all floors, including one in front of the pool. This distribution of the house allows all generations to find their own place in a harmonious environment. There are 2 extra single beds close to the wellness area. Therefore accommodation has a capacity for fourteen + 2 people, eight adults and eight teenagers or children. The historic centre of Trogir is the only city of Croatia -along with Dubrovnik- to have an UNESCO heritage site, which is at a 15 min. walking distance. The marina is at 20 min. if you go walking and at 5 min. by car. It is possible to sail to Split, Hrvar, Brac or to the North, and to the natural park of the Kornati islands. The Krka Natural Park is less than an hour away, it offers refreshing shaded walks and crystal clear waterfalls, you can lunch in the middle of the forest, and at the end there is a beautiful fjord. Villa Amarina can therefore be considered a peaceful and homely haven, only disturbed by the passage of some planes descending to the Airport of Split which is at 15 minutes, or the cry of pheasants in the morning, and the closeness to the day and night life of Trogir and Split, which in the summer is a great cosmopolitan city, thirty minutes by car from Trogir. The central position of Trogir in Dalmatia, allows to get there very quickly through the nearby airport and to Zadar on the North, and Split and Dubrovnik to the South. The construction of the villa was the subject of particular attention, every detail had to be a decorative element, to ensure visual comfort for its occupants. The beds are of very high quality. The owner will do everything you need for your satisfaction during your stay, if you wish to rent a boat, have the services of a waiter for a wine tasting evening. The tour of the villa begins with the "konoba" which in Croatian means a large room on the ground floor garden. It is a vast space which has a tempered climate as half of it is on the hillside, there is a wellness area with a sauna, a steam room and 4 relaxation beds, and separated by a curtain a summer kitchen. This large room opens onto a charming covered terrace beside the pool and garden, just meters from the barbecue, always with a fascinating view of the sea. On the ground floor there is a second kitchen and living room equipped with two adjacent terraces, one covered and facing east, ideal for breakfast when the sun is still low on the horizon, the other very spacious, south facing, covered by a wrought iron pergola. Enjoy the sunset during a friendly dinner. The first bedroom for adults is on this floor, with a bathroom on the next door. There are three other bedrooms on the upper floor, one suite with en suite bathroom and a terrace. The mattresses and box springs of 1.60 meters were selected to provide firm and comfortable sleeping. Each room has a different decoration, when you open the window you will see the sea looking like a salver on the horizon. A fourth bathroom serves two bedrooms. The laundry room is equipped with a large capacity washing machine (15 kg), a tumble dryer and ironing facilities. Finally, the top floor houses the House of sailors (or pirates?). Comfortable, decorated, air conditioned, independent with its own bathroom, it offers a living area, sleeping and games suitable for children aged 4-5 and for teenagers. The quality of the bedding is equivalent to those for the adults, 0.90 meters and allows accommodation for 6 additional people under very satisfactory conditions. Rental is from Saturday to Saturday in very high season, and more flexible the rest of the year. Winter in the villa is also an option, with central heating, chimney and wellness area.

A private chef will take care of your groceries purchases, will cook and serve your dinners, excepted for your arrival day, when you will find a welcome lunch (canapés). A maid and a manager will accompany you during your stay, will clean the villa, and make your beds.

How do damage deposits work?

If Stephane (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
